Millek
hello - unRAID has been running perfectly, but when i tried setting up VMs, where it told me IOMMU was disabled. I went through the BIOS however, and IOMMU is definatley enabled, does anyone can help this? Thanks, unraid-diagnostics-20200102-1324.zip Quote Link to comment
Squid
That option you took a screenshot for is VT-x. There's another option (hopefully) buried in the BIOS options that's labelled VT-d Quote Link to comment

Millek
and when i use hyper-v in windows10 ,the Ethernet port can pass through to VMs Quote Link to comment
Squid
I can't find a manual for that motherboard. Sometimes it's labelled as IOMMU, or under very rare circumstances as Vandenberg Technology Quote Link to comment

Squid
What are you looking to even passthrough? Not too much on that board Quote Link to comment

Not too much on that board I want to start a software router and PLEX server. hardware passthrough can help to achive the best performance on the router. Also Plex need passthrough to enable graphic card hardware decode I think. without passthrough, plex server can not decode 4K videos because the CPU performance is not enough Edited January 2, 2020 by Millek Quote Link to comment
Squid
Plex doesn't require hardware passthough in order to utilize hardware decoding when running as a docker container Are there even multiple NICs on that board for using a VM as a router? Quote Link to comment
Millek
I will use USB3.0 RJ45 Adapter to have more eth port Quote Link to comment
