superloopy1
Guys ... briefly, I have two servers containing media with binhex-plex running on only one and serving the media from that server alone, most of which is now redundant so I want to point Plex to my second server's media library. How do I map a share which points at the second servers library and edit the docker config? The current server has the better spec so although they are both unraid servers I don't want another Plex server on the second system so I'm thinking I just use the current server with the media from the second server. Just don't know what's needed to map that media server? Help appreciated ... Edited January 2, 2020 by superloopy1 Quote Link to comment
Squid
Mount the SMB share with Unassigned Devices, then add another path mapping eg /2ndServer -> /mnt/disks/2ndServer with an access mode of RW slave Quote Link to comment
superloopy1
Thanks. I did try that but no shares are 'loaded' when I try to add remote SMB/NFS share. Anything I need to do here? I populate servername, user and password of remote system then 'load shares' and nothing returns?? Quote Link to comment
