BlackCat
Are the white wires on the wire bundle for the power led, hdd led, and power switch (from the front of the case) the ground wire? It isn't labeled on the wire and it doesn't say in the manual. Thanks http://www.flickr.com/photos/50701789@N08/5235157742/in/photostream/ Link to comment
kenoka
The white wire is the negative wire. The colored wire is the positive wire. Edit: wait, that looks different from mine. I have individual plugs for each. Maybe your motherboard just has them spaced closer than mine. Link to comment
rich.bingham
Convention suggests that white would be the ground (negative) wires. Worst case for the LED's you'll be trying to reverse bias a diode and they won't light up. For the power switch, I'm fairly sure it won't turn the PC on if it's backwards so you'll know right away. Rajahal
Exactly. Trial and error...you won't permanently damage anything. Those cables look different from what I'm used to as well. Link to comment

On most motherboards it doesn't matter which way you plug in the power switch. There isn't a plus or a negative per say. You can power up your motherboard without the power switch. You just close the contact between both pins. You could use a screw driver or any flat metal. When the power comes on remove the short & you are up & running. Didn't mean to be so long winded on this one. To make a long story short. You are just touching 2 wires together for a second to complete the circuit & the power supply comes on. Link to comment
