Is there a correct way to remove the faulty unassigned disk?

i was just going to stop the array after parity check finished the stop server power down then unplug it and remove

    Everything is fine now and i would like to thank all the above contributors in helping me.

    It is so easy to get the advice and help then disappear.

    But i think this community is great and the help is fantastic.
