manutdsoc20
Hello, Thanks for the help in advance. So I've been copying Movie files(mkv) over to the UNRAID server with no problems for the last year. This past Sunday copying a movie file would be almost finished copying and then an error would pop up on my Windows machine stating UNRAID SERVER is unresponsive. Once this happens UNRAID( from Web GUI) becomes unresponsive and I can't stop the array/reboot/Power down. Additionally, I can't access the Unraid server folder shares from my Windows machine. I end up having to perform a hard reboot. I've attached the logs. Cheers Jason nickserver-syslog-20200226-2028.zip Quote Link to comment
trurl
Go to Tools-diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post. Diagnostics contains syslog and many other things that give us a more complete understanding of your situation. Quote Link to comment

itimpi
The syslog in the diagnostics show the system getting gGeneral Protection Faults which suggests a hardware error of some sort. Have you tried running a memory test recently? If not that might be a good idea? Quote Link to comment
manutdsoc20
I have not ran memtest. I'm away from the server so I will see what I can do to get that done as soon as possible. Here is the error from today when copying a file over to the server. The file completed copying over to the server and UNRAID webgui is still functional. Feb 27 10:27:15 NickServer kernel: traps: notify[3613] general protection ip:14cdbb2138fa sp:7ffd40cf6fb8 error:0 in libc-2.30.so[14cdbb0bf000+16b000] Any thoughts on a USB failure? I built this server and another one9 same time frame0 using the same Samsung 32GB USB drive. In the second server I already had a USB failure and had to replace it. Thanks for the assistance. Will post memtest results once completed. cheers Jason Quote Link to comment
