Sash
I am running new config 4 sas disk and some 1tb sata disk on ny hp DL380e g8 with h220 raid controller. I have strange disk write/read errors on my 4 sas disk when i am doing disk parity check. Is there anybody can help me to find out what is going wrong? 🙄 Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
Diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened, I would start with updating the LSI firmware since it's very old: May 29 09:36:49 Unraid-G8 kernel: mpt2sas_cm0: LSISAS2308: FWVersion(13.10.83.00), ChipRevision(0x05), BiosVersion(07.25.03.00) Current one is 20.00.07.00. JorgeB
You're getting an errors on multiple disks that I've never seen before: May 30 05:37:21 Unraid-G8 kernel: sd 1:0:5:0: [sdg] Unaligned partial completion (resid=148208, sector_sz=512) Not sure what it means, if the SAS disks share a miniSAS cable or power splitter/source try changing that first, but could be a more specif issue, or even a compatibly problem.
