Can I use a "daughter card/built in" PERC 310?

Hi everyone,

 

I am switching all of my home infrastructure over to two R720s.  One of them will be dedicated to Unraid (and whatever add-ons I end up doing).  Do I understand correctly that the "built in" or "daughter card" PERC 310 can be used with Unraid, but won't pass all information back to UNRAID, and it will lock the server up if you try to flash it to an LSI firmware that will pass the information back?

 

Just trying to confirm.

    IIRC the H310 mini can now be flashed to IT mode, you should find how if you google it.

    I'll give that a shot.  I was thinking it could, but the server won't boot unless it has a Dell bios.  Maybe there's a Dell it bios now.  I'll check.  Thanks!
