Hi,

This is my new thread to record the status of my latest UnRAID build!

I transitioned from a Silverstone DS380 with eight hot swap drives to the Silverstone CS380 that also has eight 3.5" hot swap drive bays but it has the addition of two 5.25" bays above them for my blue-ray drive and SD etc card reader!

You can find my build log for those systems here. The log has over 20,000 views at present!

Although, I upgraded to the CS380  it isn't big enough to fit my new graphics card! So, I have had to upgrade again... Doh!

I have managed to source a "mint condition, new" Antec 1200 from facebook and I am eager to start the build!

## QUESTIONS ##

1.

I need a to purchase a new motherboard that will work with the above spec. But I need a motherboard that has sound capability, multiple PCI slots and can handle multiple VM's.

What do you suggest I buy?

Thanks.

How did you case the case front panel to display the external 3.5 drive bay like that? I can only see the panel so far on the newegg website or maybe I'm missing something.

The front comes with 12 5.25 bays,

you are seeing four of these installed in those 5.25 bays.
