Unraid 7.1: 9070XT Won't Passthrough
Is there any "offical" solution yet? Currently whiched to Ubuntu when running UnRAID VMs but it limits what I can do

A simple click webGUI would be great

WANTED UK: 3U or 4U Cases?
Hi all, I’m building out my new rack and I’m looking for two cases—one for my daily PC (work and gaming), and one for a storage box running UnRAID. I'm looking for a 3 or 4u case for my main PC but it must be able to hold my Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT, which is 331 mm. And for my storage server I'm looking for a 16-24 bay case, something like the Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4736 Rack setup: 12U StarTech enclosed rack Planning to leave some depth free at the back for a shelf (mini PC + KVM). I am in the UK Thanks in advance 🙏

New: Server Rack Case Recommendations?
Hi all, I’m building out my rack and I’m looking for two cases—one for my daily PC (work and gaming), and one for a storage box running UnRAID. I’d like some feedback on whether these cases are good choices, especially for cooling, and whether my GPU will fit. PC (work/gaming) SilverStone RM52 (5U) SilverStone RM44 (4U) Main concern: I’ll be running a Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT, which is ~331 mm long and a 3.25-slot card. Do either of these cases comfortably take a GPU of that size and thickness? Which would you recommend for thermals and ease of use in a rack? Storage (UnRAID) Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4736 I need up to 24–36 drives (3.5″), and this looks like a cost-effective option available in the UK. Does anyone here have experience with this chassis? How’s the cooling with all bays populated? Any quirks I should know about? Rack setup 12U StarTech enclosed rack Planning to leave some depth free at the back for a shelf (mini PC + KVM). Any feedback on whether these are good cases, keep everything cool, and if my GPU will fit would be really appreciated! Or if you can recommend any other cases in the UK? Thanks in advance 🙏

I'm also looking for a 24 bay case as well!

Unraid 7.1: 9070XT Won't Passthrough
@limetech @SpaceInvaderOne Do you have any information on when UnRAID will update its kernel to the required version to support this card? Thank you

Unraid 7.1: 9070XT Won't Passthrough
Please can we have an update on who has this working and what version of unraid you are running and what kennel? Along with what VirtIO driver you are running? Let's get this working this month! Thank you

I've given up trying to get this to work as nothing works... Can the Unraid team update is on when the kernel required will be released?

Many users have reported this fixes their issue, but I just receive: Loosing the will to live with this now...

New week, same problem... D0 until VM boots, then it goes into D3 or D3Cold Any suggestions @SpaceInvaderOne or @Bala Bob? UPDATE: VM booted with updated driver attached, boots, but no video - power state = D0 and D3? UnRAID reports D0, VM reports D3

The only bits I am uncertain of is: How do I check AMDGPU - I thought I did this.. What bios tweaks have you made exactly as I've tried everything! What drive/vbios are you discussing?

Unraid 7.1: 9070XT Won't Passthrough
D0 for every step, but when I start the VM, the card is in - D3Cold?

Unraid 7.1: 9070XT Won't Passthrough
It's in D0 after getting to this bit: Step 4 – Allow AMDGPU Driver to Initialise GPU 1. Make sure - VFIO is still not bound & Ffamebuffer still removed 2. Reboot the server 3. After booting, run cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:03:00.0/power_state 4. The GPU should now be in D0 Step 5 – BIOS Settings Reboot and enter BIOS Change these settings if not like this - Primary Display -- IGFX (iGPU) - Multi-Monitor -- Enabled - CSM -- Disabled - Above 4G Decoding -- Enabled - Resizable BAR (ReBAR) -- Disabled Save and reboot. Run the power state check again: cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:03:00.0/power_state --- Step 6 – Try the VM Without the vbios attached also again do not bind GPU to VFIO at boot Then starting the VM with GPU passed through I don't know how to do or check the 'Allow AMDGPU Driver to Initialise GPU' bit or 'framebuffer'
