January 13, 201115 yr I'm using this as my XBMC front-end and have been very pleased with it's performance. This is a steal at this price.
January 13, 201115 yr This is the one I got as well. Still trying to get my Rosewill remote to work with it. Since you're listing the price history, they did run this for $199.99 with a $30 rebate as a shell shocker deal on 10/22.
January 13, 201115 yr Geez...now I have to decide between this one, the other Zotac and the Jetway. Any thoughts now Raj?
January 13, 201115 yr I jumped on the Jetway deal before the Zotac deal was offered and now wish I hadn't. If you Google "Jetway+XBMC" you will find that few, if any, have successfully implemented XBMC Live on the Jetway. While XBMC appears to work fine over Ubuntu 10.10 on the mini-top, I was hoping to be able to use the Live CD and it sounds like that won't work just now. Bummed. YMMV.

Good to know, I wasn't aware of that. I figured they were all about the same. In light of that news, I recommend this one as I can personally vouch for it working well. Same goes for the Revo 1600, but again they are hard to find at the moment.
January 14, 201115 yr I use a media player connected through my LAN to watch movies on my HD TV. The media player has built in jukebox type stuff and all that. What could I do with something like this Zotac? I'm thinking I need another gadget to play with but can't think of what I would do with it.
January 14, 201115 yr Browse the web from your couch, run a more robust media player like XBMC, watch Netflix and Hulu, are a few benefits.
January 14, 201115 yr +Ram and HD is all I need! Gotta remind the wife she told me I could get a HTPC!
January 14, 201115 yr +Ram and HD is all I need! Gotta remind the wife she told me I could get a HTPC! Actually, you don't need a HDD. I used a 4 Gig CF card I had available and an adapter. Got the info from Joe L's post here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=7571.msg81536#msg81536
January 14, 201115 yr I run Openelec on my JetWay Mini-Top and have not had to much trouble with it. I am a couple versions behind what is up on there site now, but the only thing that does not really work quite correctly is the remote. The stop button does not function, beyond that is works pretty well. I even have my harmony remote programmed and it turns on and off the Mini-Top when I press the power button on the remote.
January 14, 201115 yr What are people using for a keyboard/remote for these things? I bought one last time and haven't gotten around to installing it
January 14, 201115 yr I use an old school MCE remote. I've also played around with the wifi-remote software for iPods and Droids (collect3, iXBMC, etc.).
