What's_a_Computer?
Ever since upgrading to 6.9.0-beta25 I've been unable to start my VM. Right now the error I'm getting is: Quote Execution error unsupported configuration: host doesn't support VFIO PCI passthrough I'm not sure if it's related but I also added a new pool and a new hard drive. I was thinking maybe it has to do with where the windows ISO is stored? I tried updating my BIOS and messing with as many settings as I could but honestly I'm pretty lost and any help would be much appreciated. Attached is the diagnostics file. alcatraz-diagnostics-20200913-1111.zip Quote Link to comment

What's_a_Computer?
Thanks for the suggestion. But unfortunately I got the same error. Unless I did something wrong? What I did was change the line in the VM XML code from this: <cpu mode='host-passthrough' check='none'> <topology sockets='1' dies='1' cores='10' threads='2'/> <cache mode='passthrough'/> <feature policy='require' name='topoext'/> </cpu> To this: <cpu mode='host-model' check='none'> <topology sockets='1' dies='1' cores='10' threads='2'/> <feature policy='require' name='topoext'/> </cpu> Then hit save and tried to start the VM. Did I follow the instructions in that thread correctly? Does anyone have any other suggestions or ideas? I've added the diagnostic file again here after trying that fix if that helps at all. alcatraz-diagnostics-20200913-1759.zip Edited September 14, 2020 by What's_a_Computer? Added diagnostic file. What's_a_Computer?
I've been doing some more troubleshooting and may have some more information that may help diagnose this issue. I tried to create a new VM and got this: This makes me think that the windows iso isn't where it's supposed to be. Can anyone point me in the right direction to check the iso or maybe re-upload it? Another thing, I'm running the beta so I can have the windows 10 VM running entirely on the M.2 drive. From the thread I started here I think this is possible an this is the best option to get the best performance out of my M.2. Quote Link to comment
