PatSer Posted October 20, 2020 Share Posted October 20, 2020 A few months ago the flash drive died and with a struggle I got a new one up and running. This morning I wanted to check something on the Apps tab and found a 'Fatal Flash Drive Error' message. It suggested to post a new tread to this forum for assistance... It's the second Kingston Datatraveler 3.0 which fails, maybe another brand this time? Can I recover from this error or do I need to email Limetech for the license? Quote Link to comment

trurl Posted October 20, 2020 Share Posted October 20, 2020 Automatic license transfer only allows one per year so you will have to contact limetech to do another. Wouldn't hurt to try to repair the existing flash. Were you booting from USB2 port? USB3 ports seem to disconnect for some systems. Quote Link to comment
