SSD showing errors and becomes unavailable some times

I just upgraded my CPU, MB and RAM and I'm now seeing issues with my two SSDs that never showed any issues before.  I'm seeing things like this in the disk log for either of them:

This drive becomes unavailable at times and then reappears on a reboot.  I am alsu seeing a bunch of virtual devices in Unassigned Drives that were never there before.  I attached a screenshot.

Issues are affecting both SSDs, try using the AMD SATA controller instead of the Asmedia.

For some reason the board isn't displaying the model, but if it has IPMI these look like virtual devices.

OK.  I will try the other controller.  Motherboard is Asrock Rack X399D8A-2T and it does have IPMI.  My previous 2 boards also had IPMI and I've never seen that before.  With that said, they are no longer showing

 

EDIT:  Actually according to the manual I'm not plugged into the Asmedia controller.  It says there are only 2 ports on the Asmedia controller (SATA3_6 / SATA3_7).  I am using a breakout cable and it's plugged in to SATA3_4 / SATA3_5 / SATA3_8 / SATA3_9.
