• [6.7.0-rc2] Netatalk not starting

    Syslog shows the messages

    on startup and at array start and I can't connect from macOS using AFP. It looks like a missing symlink or an incorrect reference to libcrypto.so.1 (which doesn't exist) instead of libcrypto.so.1.1. The SNMP plugin is also affected but it has other issues too.

    Yes, you're quite right, Tom. First I removed the SNMP plugin but that made no difference so I removed the Preclear plugin and that fixed it.

    I have noticed IPMITOOL via nerd tools also fails with same missing symlink. I have already logged issue with SNMP on the plugin page.

    My hypothesis is that, after preclear install libevent, netatalk start using it and, since it need openssl10-solibs, it fails.
