  • SMB V1 can not recognize by Oppo 203 Blu-Ray Player

Hi there, I updated to OS 7 beta 2, I found that SMB V1 can not work with my Oppo 203 Blu-Ray Player, but the same setting it worked in OS 6.12.10.

As the attachment, whatever I set WSD Yes or No, it still didn't work.

BTW. I have a wireguard tunnel.

There's a known issue with NetBIOS, it won't work if there's a wireguard tunnel active, I believe it's being looked at.

Have the Oppo only SMB 1? For Security Reasons not recommended.

I think so. It worked in the OS6.12.10,NetBIOS.

I think you missed the question. Revan was probably wondering if you absolutely had to use SMB1 because of your OPPO device. It is a super unsecure protocol and has been for years.

Sure.Oppo only support SMB V1 and NFS, but NFS doesn't support Hard Link

@bear0328 with the array stopped, go to Settings - SMB - SMB Extras and add to Samba extra configuration:

nmbd bind explicit broadcast = no

Make sure NetBIOS is still enabled and then start the array, nmbd should now work with an active Wireguard tunnel, if yes please test and let us now if all is working OK.
