Two things to try that are easy and quick:

    • Clear your browsers cache in case there is something cached causing an issue
    • Reboot the server in Safe mode.  If that works you almost certainly have a plugin causing problems.

Unfortunately 6.12.2 is coming up "empty" as well. Reinstalled 6.12.3 and the WebUI is just visible by starting in Safe Mode. Any idea how to move forward?

    Diagnostics attached.

If you get the GUI showing if you boot in Safe Mode then this strongly suggests that it is a plugin that is causing the problem.    I do not know which one it might be :(

You can deactivate a plugin by renaming its .plg file in the config/plugins folder on the flash drive to have a different file extension and rebooting.   Reversing the process will activate the plugin again.    This method keeps any settings for the -login intact.    It is then a case of trial and error to work out the culprit(s).

Thanks @itimpi I renamed all .plg files into plgbak and the server came up without issues. However, as soon as I am trying the install any plugin (...I picked the CA first) the screen is the same as in post  from July 18.

I would backup and redo the flash drive, then restore only the bare minimum from the backup, like the key, super.dat, pools folder and docker user templates, confirm it's working and if yes re-configure the rest of the server or restore the remaining config files a few at a time until you find the culprit.

    Thanks @JorgeB

I reformatted the drive and restored the backup piece by piece and reinstalled all plugins.
I noticed that there were three files in the root directory that I don't know what they do:

    • hardware
    • ldlinux.sys
    • readvz

The server is now running again, however I have seen error messages at system startup. I re-checked the drive - should I be concerned?

Only need to restore the files from the /config folder, nothing else.

Right, I only restored a couple of files from /config all plugins were installed from scatch not from the backup.

dosfsck /dev/sda1 -r did a nice job and dosfsck /dev/sda1 -av is now showing:
