  1. I am doing some port forwarding for some of the services on Unraid such as Plex, Transmission and a while ago when I was playing around with a reverse proxy I have 80 forwarding to 8001 and 443 to 44301. Here are the diagnostic from my system. Let me know if you find anything. infinity-diagnostics-20231108-1644.zip
  2. Recently I started realizing that my CPU usage has been jumping up to 100%. I recently learned about the htop command and used that to see running process. Well, I've found the buggar, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at or where to begin to resolve the issue. Looking this up, it seems like the process is some sort of bitcoin miner. So, one trying to figure out how to get this off and two, how did it get there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Well thats is unfortunate. So I assume there isn't a docker for the non-community edition (I can only assume not free). If I wanted to implement that I would be looking at creating a VM and hosting it on there and paying for a full featured version of NC? Is there any reason to even use the OnlyOffice docker instead of the built in app you find in NC?
  4. Hello community. I'm probably asking a question here that has been answered a million times and that answer is lurking somewhere in the many pages of this forum. So my apologies in advance if I'm being redundant here. Feel free to just point me to an article if it isn’t a quick answer. Or perhaps this isn’t a NextCloud or OnlyOffice issue at all and more of an issue with my reverse proxy, which I admit, I am not an expert in After setting up NextCloud, I add https://documentserver.mydomain/ and get: Error when trying to connect (Client error: `GET https://documentserver.mydomain/healthcheck` resulted in a `400 Bad Request` response: 400 Bad Request 400 Bad Request ngin (truncated...) ) Here is my setup: - Unraid 6.9.2 - Nextcloud 21.0.2 - OnlyOffice Document Server - OnlyOffice App in Nextcloud 7.0.2 - Swag - All dockers are using the same custom docker network - CNAMEs “documentserver” and “nextcloud ” are both setup on my domain - “documentserver” and “nextcloud” are both added as subdomains in the Swag container - I have port forwarding configured on my firewall - Certs and keys have been copied over into app data folder for each docker respectively - Subdomain.conf files are setup in Swags proxy-confs folder - I have checked both conf files to make sure they point to the appropriate subdomain and docker name - https://nextcloud.mydomain resolves fine and I can access it no problem - https://documentserver.mydomain does return an error 400 Bad Request - https://internal.ip.address:443 does open the OnlyOffice Welcome page but resolve to a “Not Secure” page of internal.ip.address:4430 as that is the host port I have mapped in the OnlyOffice docker - All Security and Setup warnings have been cleared in NextCloud I should also mention that I was using Spaceinvader One's video tutorials that are about 2 years old now. So perhaps there are some settings that have changed since then that I am missing.
  5. Anyone seen if the 6.9.1 update has fixed issues with GPU pass through?
  6. I have been running Unraid (6.8.3) with a single video card (NVidia Quadro P2200), strictly for video encoding for PLEX. I decided to get a dedicated card for VMs. So I just put in a NVidia Geforce GTX 1050Ti and passed that through. I first set up the VM using OVMF BIOS, which only brings up a black screen when using the video card. I tried another VM, same setup, but with SeaBIOS and it will return video but it never gets past the Windows loading screen. Both run just fine through VNC. I was hoping to get a little advice on what I might have set up wrong.
  7. Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I was never able to get Subsonic working on Unraid. I ended up just using the Airsonic container and that seems to work fine for my needs. Not sure how to get Subsonic working though. I would like to since I do have a paid subscription with them. I saw the Subsonic container too but I'm not sure how to get a container that doesn't come from Community Applications to install. Otherwise, VM is the only other way I can see to make it work.
  8. M/B: ROG Crosshair VIII Hero CPU: AMD Ryzen 3900x Hi all, I am having a similar issue with the temp plug-in. However, it doesn't seem to detect anything. I'm assuming that I need enter this in my "go file" as instruction by tansmith88. Only problem, I have no idea what the "go file" is. While having a temp of infinity is neat, I'd like to know the actual temp. Pics attached of my situation.
  9. I've been using unraid for a few weeks now and after getting all the details sorted out, I decided to install a VM. I set up a windows VM and had everything working fine. I was hoping to get sound to pass through to Splashtop, so I stopped the VM went to edit the template and assigned the onboard sound controller, applied. When I started the VM again, the entire system froze up. I could no longer even access the unraid GUI, or ping it's IP address. I wasn't sure what to do, so I ended up doing a hard shutdown. Everything came back up when I powered on again and the parity check began, which I expected. I'm hoping to get some help to figure out what went wrong and maybe something I should avoid doing in the future. I'm nervous to try and start up the VM and have this happen again. I especially don't like the 20 hours I have to wait for the parity check. I opened the logs icon in the top right but it only went back so far and had nothing around the time of the crash. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  10. My apologies if I am posting this in the wrong section, for some reason I don't have the option to post under the Docker Containers part of the forum. I am new to unraid and docker in general. I'm just trying to get some services set up that I'm used to using. I have premium subscription to Subsonic and was hoping to get it to run natively on unraid instead of installing a VM to host it. I don't see a docker for subsonic in community applications. I see booksonic but that seems to be geared more towards audiobooks than a large music library. I see on subsonic's support page the option to download a "stand-alone" version and they mention to use that for unraid. However, I'm not exactly sure what the steps are to get a working docker up and running that doesn't install directly from community applications. Are they expecting users to take the files and create their own docker container out of it? If so, I'm sure I could look that up and figure it out, unless someone has quick tips. Even if that is the case, how then would I get it working on unraid? Again, I am new to some of these ideas, so a little guidance would be much appreciated.
  11. Got it, I missed that part earlier. I was thinking of using Krusader to transfer the data. My thought is that will be quicker and more reliable than using Finder or Explorer in other OS'. Would you agree? Since I need dockers enabled to install Krusader but don't want cache enabled before I do the initial file transfer. Would the best work flow be Build array Assign my cache drive Enable Dockers and VMs Install Krusader Create share, but disable the cache in the share settings Then once the initial transfer is done, enable cache on that share if I so desire Add my parity drive
  12. Fantastic. I appreciate the detailed responses, really helps me understand Unraid better. Now, another question. I noticed that I'm not allowed to enable dockers yet because I don't have an array set up yet. I plan to install PLEX and Krusader for starters. Are dockers only stored on the array, I cannot set them up on another disk? I was thinking of having my NVMe set up as the cache disk and also storing app data, VMs and the dockers. Is this possible? Do I just need to create the array first, set that as cache and then it will be available for me to create a share on so I can map these items to it? Or is it better practice to store all of that on the array and keep the NVMe as a dedicated cache disk? Honestly the VMs are more to just play with so I can have various OS' to access and play with if I desire. They won't be heavily used. Lastly, are plug-ins written to and stored on the flash drive Unraid is installed on?
  13. Thank you very much for the response and the tips. I was able to get Unraid booted up and installed the preclear plugin. I decided to just plug the drives into another computer before shucking them and just making sure they were at least recognized and then pulled them from the enclosures and am running preclear on them all in the system. Doesn't seem too bad, got to 10% after an hour an a half but I did tell it to do it twice. Once this is done I'm going to build my array and create the shares so I can begin transferring data. I will not use cache for that process as you suggested. I do have a question about holding off on setting the parity drive. Should I add all my drives to the array, create my share, transfer data and then enable one of the drives as parity? or Should I add all but one drive to the array, create my share, transfer data then add the last drive to the array and assign it as parity at that point? Then I have a new question about how parity works with Unraid. I understand that it works differently than say RAID5, where it spans the data across all the disks and in Unraid it spans entire files across the discs. When one of the disks does die and all the data goes along with it, does the parity disk make up for that and still provide access to the data lost on that drive or does it only hold the instructions on how to rebuild the data when a new drive enters the array? Again, thanks for the help.
  14. Hello Unraid community, I'm new here and to Unraid. I'm about to switch my system over to Unraid from ESXi and add some shucked drives I just ordered. I've been doing a lot of research about setting everything up in Unraid properly but I could use a little support on a specific topic I'm pretty much all set and ready to load up Unraid on the system with the flash drive, I'm just waiting for 4 10Tb drives I'm gonna shuck and put in. I started reading about preclearing the drives and I understand that, especially with these USB enclosed discs, it's a good safety measure to take. Other than the 4 drives, the only other storage media I have is a 500gb NVMe drive. Will this be efficient enough to Unraid for installing Unassigned Drives and Preclear so I can preclear the 4 drives? I'd like to plug them in via USB to do this before shucking them just to make a return easier if necessary. Then I'll install them in the system and build my drive pool. Second question I was thinking that I would utilize the 500gb NVMe drive I mentioned earlier to store Appdata, VMs and Dockers (I do plan on adding an additional NVMe at some point to mirror the data). Would it be advisable or not to use it as a cache drive as well? The 30Tb drive pool is mostly going to be for PLEX media so reading will be the bigger activity. Since I won't be doing a lot of writing to the drive pool except torrent downloads (and I suppose the initial transfer of data from my current storage; 15Tb), I'm wondering if that warrants the need for a cache drive. Any suggestions/ clarification on these topics would be greatly appreciated.
