Solutions

  1. giafidis's post in Issue with Radeon Vega56 GPU Audio Passthrough in Windows 10/11 VM was marked as the answer   
    I finally managed to solve the problem. The solution was to utilize the MSI Tool and enable the Radeon HDMI Sound Card option. After doing so and restarting Windows, sound became available through the GPU, even when using DisplayPort
