  2. Hello, can I use this for my plex container (with a P2200) and still be able to use my 3080 with my gaming vm?
  3. Hello! I'm having a problem here. I can't figure how to make the bot join the Discord server. Everything is configured OK, logs show: ======== Running on http://0.0.0.0:32500 ======== (Press CTRL+C to quit) Plex webhook URL: http://localhost:32500/6s8r7t165sr7t1vf6s5r7t But no bot in discord server. What did I miss?
  4. Hello! This is the part of my xml for my RTX3080: <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> <alias name='hostdev0'/> <rom file='/mnt/user/isos/BIOS/Gigabyte.RTX3080.10240.200903.rom'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x0'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x1'/> </source> <alias name='hostdev1'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x08' function='0x1'/> </hostdev> For passing throught the GPU to the VM, I've just ticked the boxes of my card: IOMMU group 28: [10de:2206] 21:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GA102 [GeForce RTX 3080] (rev a1) [10de:1aef] 21:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GA102 High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1) And I have this script running at startup of array (settings/user script): #!/bin/bash echo 0 > /sys/class/vtconsole/vtcon0/bind echo 0 > /sys/class/vtconsole/vtcon1/bind echo efi-framebuffer.0 > /sys/bus/platform/drivers/efi-framebuffer/unbind Have you tried other bios rom files? Without any bios rom?
  5. Thanks, but it was a dummy one EDIT: Well, thanks a lot everybody, problems are solved
  6. Man, you deserve a big thank ! I didn't do anything on my Tower, SSL is set as AUTO as always (and by default if I remember correctly)
  7. Hello all! I'm facing an issue that I don't how it happen, and furthermore, how to resolve it... Since yesterday, I can't access to my tower GUI. My router see it, my VMs are working fine, ping and SSH is ok, but, when I type in Chrome (firefox and Safari, same problem) http://192.168.1.80 (local IP of my Tower), the url change to something like "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.unraid.net" and browser says "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN". My Tower is headless (in the garage, The Tower 900 with custom watercooling so not easy to move). Any advice would be appreciate Thanks ! PS: config is Threadripper 3960x / 48GB ram, the 2 VMs running use 24Gb of ram and 24 cores
  8. Hello all! I've a Tower with Unraid last rc installed on it (my 3080 bugged with the last final, everything smooth on the rc so...). I've a gaming VM which works nearly flawlessly (my fracking Threadripper 3960x refuse to boost), and I play on it using Moonlight and nvidia gamestream API. My tower is in my garage, and I play throught Cat7 and 10Gbit router in my desk. I plan on buying a Vr headset, specially the HTC Vive Pro which is 50% discounted in France right now. How does it works? Everything need to be connected to the Tower (to a passed throught usb pcie card) and voila? Big thanks!
  9. Had the same issue with my former RTX 2080Ti EVGA SC Gaming. I believe that the power management and fan management are tied to the drivers, and so, when the gaming VM is not launched, the card is in a bastard state, powered and that's all, she waits for the initialization that never come because her OS isn't running. So like it has been said, building a microVM just with nvidia driver and running this VM while the big one is off could be the trick.
  10. Thanks for your answers. I've resolved the issue by installing a freenas VM
  11. Hello all! I plan to migrate all of my data from my ds918+ to my tower. I actually have 2*12TB inside the tower. I've created a share called "MEDIA", which use all the disks, high-water... and things goes hell with file split... I've tried everything, but during my copy, everything goes to disk1, and never split for exemple, tv shows: MEDIA\TV Shows\TV Show name\Season X I wanted a split at season level, so I set split only top 4, but it doesn't work. Do I have missed something? Thanks.
  12. Sorry I forgot my XML, anbd I don't find how to edit my post.... My Graphic card is an EVGA 2080ti XC Gaming. <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm'> <name>ValiGaming</name> <uuid>bda33f63-eba0-ec7e-5438-f3659b6a4783</uuid> <metadata> <vmtemplate xmlns="unraid" name="Windows 10" icon="windows.png" os="windows10"/> </metadata> <memory unit='KiB'>16777216</memory> <currentMemory unit='KiB'>16777216</currentMemory> <memoryBacking> <nosharepages/> </memoryBacking> <vcpu placement='static'>16</vcpu> <cputune> <vcpupin vcpu='0' cpuset='1'/> <vcpupin vcpu='1' cpuset='25'/> <vcpupin vcpu='2' cpuset='2'/> <vcpupin vcpu='3' cpuset='26'/> <vcpupin vcpu='4' cpuset='3'/> <vcpupin vcpu='5' cpuset='27'/> <vcpupin vcpu='6' cpuset='4'/> <vcpupin vcpu='7' cpuset='28'/> <vcpupin vcpu='8' cpuset='5'/> <vcpupin vcpu='9' cpuset='29'/> <vcpupin vcpu='10' cpuset='6'/> <vcpupin vcpu='11' cpuset='30'/> <vcpupin vcpu='12' cpuset='7'/> <vcpupin vcpu='13' cpuset='31'/> <vcpupin vcpu='14' cpuset='8'/> <vcpupin vcpu='15' cpuset='32'/> <emulatorpin cpuset='44'/> </cputune> <os> <type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-i440fx-4.2'>hvm</type> <loader readonly='yes' type='pflash'>/usr/share/qemu/ovmf-x64/OVMF_CODE-pure-efi.fd</loader> <nvram>/etc/libvirt/qemu/nvram/bda33f63-eba0-ec7e-5438-f3659b6a4783_VARS-pure-efi.fd</nvram> </os> <features> <acpi/> <apic/> <hyperv> <relaxed state='on'/> <vapic state='on'/> <spinlocks state='on' retries='8191'/> <vpindex state='on'/> <synic state='on'/> <stimer state='on'/> <reset state='on'/> <vendor_id state='on' value='1234567890ab'/> <frequencies state='on'/> </hyperv> <kvm> <hidden state='on'/> </kvm> <vmport state='off'/> <ioapic driver='kvm'/> </features> <cpu mode='host-passthrough' check='none'> <topology sockets='1' cores='8' threads='2'/> <cache mode='passthrough'/> <feature policy='require' name='topoext'/> </cpu> <clock offset='localtime'> <timer name='rtc' present='no' tickpolicy='catchup'/> <timer name='pit' present='no' tickpolicy='delay'/> <timer name='hpet' present='no'/> <timer name='hypervclock' present='yes'/> <timer name='tsc' present='yes' mode='native'/> </clock> <on_poweroff>destroy</on_poweroff> <on_reboot>restart</on_reboot> <on_crash>restart</on_crash> <devices> <emulator>/usr/local/sbin/qemu</emulator> <disk type='file' device='disk'> <driver name='qemu' type='raw' cache='writeback'/> <source file='/mnt/user/domains/ValiGaming/vdisk1.img'/> <target dev='hdc' bus='virtio'/> <boot order='1'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x0'/> </disk> <controller type='pci' index='0' model='pci-root'/> <controller type='pci' index='1' model='pci-bridge'> <model name='pci-bridge'/> <target chassisNr='1'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x04' function='0x0'/> </controller> <controller type='virtio-serial' index='0'> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x03' function='0x0'/> </controller> <controller type='usb' index='0' model='qemu-xhci' ports='15'> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x07' function='0x0'/> </controller> <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='52:54:00:2a:29:8e'/> <source bridge='br0'/> <model type='virtio'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x02' function='0x0'/> </interface> <serial type='pty'> <target type='isa-serial' port='0'> <model name='isa-serial'/> </target> </serial> <console type='pty'> <target type='serial' port='0'/> </console> <channel type='unix'> <target type='virtio' name='org.qemu.guest_agent.0'/> <address type='virtio-serial' controller='0' bus='0' port='1'/> </channel> <input type='tablet' bus='usb'> <address type='usb' bus='0' port='1'/> </input> <input type='mouse' bus='ps2'/> <input type='keyboard' bus='ps2'/> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> <rom file='/mnt/user/isos/BIOS/EVGA.RTX2080Ti.11264.181024.rom'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x0' multifunction='on'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x1'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x1'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x2'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x2'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x3'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x3'/> </hostdev> <memballoon model='none'/> </devices> </domain>
  13. Hello all! I'm finished my gaming VM, and I feel it lacks of power, but I don't understand from where... Here is my TimeSpy => http://www.3dmark.com/spy/12703136 Here is my FireStrike => http://www.3dmark.com/fs/22973584 Aida64 pinned. My tower is: Threadripper 3960x watercooled Aorus Master 4*16GB ram (2 kit of DDR4 G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 Go (2 x 16 Go), 3200 MHz, CAS 16) VM + benchmark tool installed on nvme ssd samsung sm961 I connect throught Moonlight. Does somebody could tell me where I can improve things, or maybe is that normal?
  14. Ok, i understand better. So, for a uniform wear, it is better to spread data all over the array. Great, I have all answers I needed, thanks a lot Benson!
