  2. Hello, can I use this for my plex container (with a P2200) and still be able to use my 3080 with my gaming vm?
  3. Hello! I'm having a problem here. I can't figure how to make the bot join the Discord server. Everything is configured OK, logs show: ======== Running on http://0.0.0.0:32500 ======== (Press CTRL+C to quit) Plex webhook URL: http://localhost:32500/6s8r7t165sr7t1vf6s5r7t But no bot in discord server. What did I miss?
  4. Hello! Without any bios rom?
  5. Thanks, but it was a dummy one EDIT: Well, thanks a lot everybody, problems are solved
  6. Man, you deserve a big thank ! I didn't do anything on my Tower, SSL is set as AUTO as always (and by default if I remember correctly)
  7. Hello all! I'm facing an issue that I don't how it happen, and furthermore, how to resolve it... Since yesterday, I can't access to my tower GUI. My router see it, my VMs are working fine, ping and SSH is ok, but, when I type in Chrome (firefox and Safari, same problem) http://192.168.1.80 (local IP of my Tower), the url change to something like "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.unraid.net" and browser says "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN". My Tower is headless (in the garage, The Tower 900 with custom watercooling so not easy to move). Any advice would be appreciate Thanks ! PS: config is Threadripper 3960x / 48GB ram, the 2 VMs running use 24Gb of ram and 24 cores
  8. Hello all! I've a Tower with Unraid last rc installed on it (my 3080 bugged with the last final, everything smooth on the rc so...). I've a gaming VM which works nearly flawlessly (my fracking Threadripper 3960x refuse to boost), and I play on it using Moonlight and nvidia gamestream API. My tower is in my garage, and I play throught Cat7 and 10Gbit router in my desk. I plan on buying a Vr headset, specially the HTC Vive Pro which is 50% discounted in France right now. How does it works? Everything need to be connected to the Tower (to a passed throught usb pcie card) and voila? Big thanks!
  9. Had the same issue with my former RTX 2080Ti EVGA SC Gaming. I believe that the power management and fan management are tied to the drivers, and so, when the gaming VM is not launched, the card is in a bastard state, powered and that's all, she waits for the initialization that never come because her OS isn't running. So like it has been said, building a microVM just with nvidia driver and running this VM while the big one is off could be the trick.
  10. Thanks for your answers. I've resolved the issue by installing a freenas VM
  11. Hello all! I plan to migrate all of my data from my ds918+ to my tower. I actually have 2*12TB inside the tower. I've created a share called "MEDIA", which use all the disks, high-water... and things goes hell with file split... I've tried everything, but during my copy, everything goes to disk1, and never split for exemple, tv shows: MEDIA\TV Shows\TV Show name\Season X I wanted a split at season level, so I set split only top 4, but it doesn't work. Do I have missed something? Thanks.
  12. Sorry I forgot my XML, anbd I don't find how to edit my post.... My Graphic card is an EVGA 2080ti XC Gaming. <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm'> <name>ValiGaming</name> <uuid>bda33f63-eba0-ec7e-5438-f3659b6a4783</uuid> <metadata> <vmtemplate xmlns="unraid" name="Windows 10" icon="windows.png" os="windows10"/> </metadata> <memory unit='KiB'>16777216</memory> <currentMemory unit='KiB'>16777216</currentMemory> <memoryBacking> <nosharepages/> </memoryBacking> <vcpu placement='static'>16</vcpu> <cputune> <vcpupin vcpu='0' cpuset='1'/> <vcpupin vcpu='1' cpuset='25'/> <vcpupin vcpu='2' cpuset='2'/> <vcpupin vcpu='3' cpuset='26'/> <vcpupin vcpu='4' cpuset='3'/> <vcpupin vcpu='5' cpuset='27'/> <vcpupin vcpu='6' cpuset='4'/> <vcpupin vcpu='7' cpuset='28'/> <vcpupin vcpu='8' cpuset='5'/> <vcpupin vcpu='9' cpuset='29'/> <vcpupin vcpu='10' cpuset='6'/> <vcpupin vcpu='11' cpuset='30'/> <vcpupin vcpu='12' cpuset='7'/> <vcpupin vcpu='13' cpuset='31'/> <vcpupin vcpu='14' cpuset='8'/> <vcpupin vcpu='15' cpuset='32'/> <emulatorpin cpuset='44'/> </cputune> <os> <type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-i440fx-4.2'>hvm</type> <loader readonly='yes' type='pflash'>/usr/share/qemu/ovmf-x64/OVMF_CODE-pure-efi.fd</loader> <nvram>/etc/libvirt/qemu/nvram/bda33f63-eba0-ec7e-5438-f3659b6a4783_VARS-pure-efi.fd</nvram> </os> <features> <acpi/> <apic/> <hyperv> <relaxed state='on'/> <vapic state='on'/> <spinlocks state='on' retries='8191'/> <vpindex state='on'/> <synic state='on'/> <stimer state='on'/> <reset state='on'/> <vendor_id state='on' value='1234567890ab'/> <frequencies state='on'/> </hyperv> <kvm> <hidden state='on'/> </kvm> <vmport state='off'/> <ioapic driver='kvm'/> </features> <cpu mode='host-passthrough' check='none'> <topology sockets='1' cores='8' threads='2'/> <cache mode='passthrough'/> <feature policy='require' name='topoext'/> </cpu> <clock offset='localtime'> <timer name='rtc' present='no' tickpolicy='catchup'/> <timer name='pit' present='no' tickpolicy='delay'/> <timer name='hpet' present='no'/> <timer name='hypervclock' present='yes'/> <timer name='tsc' present='yes' mode='native'/> </clock> <on_poweroff>destroy</on_poweroff> <on_reboot>restart</on_reboot> <on_crash>restart</on_crash> <devices> <emulator>/usr/local/sbin/qemu</emulator> <disk type='file' device='disk'> <driver name='qemu' type='raw' cache='writeback'/> <source file='/mnt/user/domains/ValiGaming/vdisk1.img'/> <target dev='hdc' bus='virtio'/> <boot order='1'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x05' function='0x0'/> </disk> <controller type='pci' index='0' model='pci-root'/> <controller type='pci' index='1' model='pci-bridge'> <model name='pci-bridge'/> <target chassisNr='1'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x04' function='0x0'/> </controller> <controller type='virtio-serial' index='0'> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x03' function='0x0'/> </controller> <controller type='usb' index='0' model='qemu-xhci' ports='15'> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x07' function='0x0'/> </controller> <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='52:54:00:2a:29:8e'/> <source bridge='br0'/> <model type='virtio'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x02' function='0x0'/> </interface> <serial type='pty'> <target type='isa-serial' port='0'> <model name='isa-serial'/> </target> </serial> <console type='pty'> <target type='serial' port='0'/> </console> <channel type='unix'> <target type='virtio' name='org.qemu.guest_agent.0'/> <address type='virtio-serial' controller='0' bus='0' port='1'/> </channel> <input type='tablet' bus='usb'> <address type='usb' bus='0' port='1'/> </input> <input type='mouse' bus='ps2'/> <input type='keyboard' bus='ps2'/> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x0'/> </source> <rom file='/mnt/user/isos/BIOS/EVGA.RTX2080Ti.11264.181024.rom'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x0' multifunction='on'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x1'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x1'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x2'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x2'/> </hostdev> <hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x21' slot='0x00' function='0x3'/> </source> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x06' function='0x3'/> </hostdev> <memballoon model='none'/> </devices> </domain>
  13. Hello all! I'm finished my gaming VM, and I feel it lacks of power, but I don't understand from where... Here is my TimeSpy => http://www.3dmark.com/spy/12703136 Here is my FireStrike => http://www.3dmark.com/fs/22973584 Aida64 pinned. My tower is: Threadripper 3960x watercooled Aorus Master 4*16GB ram (2 kit of DDR4 G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 Go (2 x 16 Go), 3200 MHz, CAS 16) VM + benchmark tool installed on nvme ssd samsung sm961 I connect throught Moonlight. Does somebody could tell me where I can improve things, or maybe is that normal?
  14. Ok, i understand better. So, for a uniform wear, it is better to spread data all over the array. Great, I have all answers I needed, thanks a lot Benson!
  15. Well so I don't understand how Unraid manage array. I thought it was actinc like a raid, and having as a default behaviour a will to spread datas all over HDD, like raid 5, like this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:RAID_15.png#/media/Fichier:RAID_15.png With unraid array of 4*12TB of storage and 1*12TB of parity, will my datas be recoverable if I loose a disk? Can I have a unique Share that spread all over my array? For example, my media share could be 20TB? Or will be media1 of 12TB + media2 of 8TB?
  16. Hello all! I actually have a DS-918+ with 4 12TB HDD inside (14TB used). I want to migrate to my Unraid Tower, and to sell my 918+. I don't have money to buy 4 new HDD, but I will buy an extra 12TB for parity. What I think is the right method for my configuration is: - shrink my data to fit on one 12TB HDD (by deleting thinks or temporary external storage) - extracting an HDD from synology (so my Synology raid SHR will still run but in degraded mode) - insert this disk in my unraid Tower and create and array with 1 disk - moving all my data from NAS to UNRAID - moving the others 3 HDD stayed in 918+ to unraid and expand array - add the parity HDD What I don't understand is: - Will unraid spread automatically the data all over the array when the 4 HDD will be included? - If not, what manipulation I need to accomplish to make is work? Thanks all for your answers! PS: i'm french so sorry if my english is not good
  17. Hello, same problem here with 2080Ti EVGA SC ULTRA and SC. Fans are always running, and the card is always hot, even after a reboot of unraid without launching any VM.
  18. So to do what I want I need 2 sperate GPU. One dedicated for docker and the other for the VM ans in this configuration it will work with nvidia-unraid right? I will have smi errors only for the passed throught gpu, if I understand.
  19. Hello! I'm facing an issue with nvidia-unraid. With standard unraid, I was passing throught my 2080ti to a Win10 Gaming VM. To do this, I had to add this "vfio-pci.ids=10de:1e07,10de:10f7,10de:1ad6,10de:1ad7" to syslinux. I switched to nvidia-unraid, for a plex container, and smi failed, so I had to remove "vfio...." from syslinux. After a reboot, smi work, but my WM can't boot because it can't initialize the GPU. Is there a special way to pasthrought GPU with nvidia-unraid? Or is it 2 use case not compatible? Thanks !
