Thank you but I am aware of that. I have used many different flash drives. Some recommended ones and other ones. Some work better others worse. So far the Intenso stick I'm using currently has performed great. The problem with the recommended ones is that they are barely available anymore and if they are they are insanely expensive. We are talking 70€ for 32GB with a Samsung Bar for example and they have failed on me in the past as well. With the one I'm using right now I am pretty certain it's not the flash that's the issue.

And again it works without issue after reflashing. I will try updating with a different drive in the coming days. I'll update you guys then. Thanks for your help

I'll try that but I will have to buy a new flash drive for it. I don't have any left so I sadly can't test it right away. I am currently reflashing the drive however, using the 7.3 zip with my old config. This is the only way this works.

Not to mention that their USB flashing tool does not function on CachyOS since it cannot access the flash drive for some reason. Every time I need to manually flash it. If Unraid wasn't as janky it would be great...

This happens regardless if which USB drives I use. This happened with every single one I have tried. The reboot didn't help either, sadly. Booting off the flash is the only reason I'm still on Unraid tbh. Idk what they are doing but their updater literally killed flash drives before for me. Over the years I have spent at least 150€ just on flash drives that Unraid destroyed.

The change logs explicitly state not to do that so I haven't while trying to update from 7.2.6 to 7.3 but I did try that while updating from 7.2.5 to 7.2.6 and there it did not help.

Hi y'all, it's getting tiresome... Unraid fails to load the bootloader every time I update the system, resulting in me having to reflash the flash drive. What is going on here? I'm sick and tired of this shit. I currently don't have any logs for obvious reasons. All I see is a black screen from the connected KVM. The KVM is working fine though. The MSI splash screen of my motherboard showed up no problem but right after it goes to black. The update said in the change log NOT to reboot so I'm going the give mind can help me. Otherwise I'll be reflashing the drive AGAIN for the third time this month... I'm running Linux on all is my machines, from servers to my main PC, laptop and multiple handheld devices. Not one has this issue besides Unraid. I'm deeply frustrated with this OS to the point I recommend friends to just use Debian on their servers and stay away from this mess.

Hi guys, I'm desperately trying to restore a backup but Crashplan is stuck on "Downloading files". I tried to only download smallish files to see if that would work but to no avail. Looking at my traffic it seems like it is downloading fine but then not being able to uncompress the files since nothing happens afterwards. According to the log everything seems to be in order. Sadly I get failed uploads rn so I can't post the logs in their entirety but here are some snippets: Restore Log: Engine_error: Help would be much appreciated. Ok, this comes waaay too late but I had the same issue just now and the solution was to simply restore an older backup that radarr keeps automatically within it's /config dir. So for anyone getting the error, just restore one of the backups under

I was, yes, though I haven't changed any docker containers besides updates since the backup in October. I'n not sure why they act up the way they do but it's no biggie. I just need to remap them correctly.

After a bit of tinkering it worked. I didn't realize I could just update the config via drag and drop. I could kiss you right now! Thank you! While it still has some issues regarding docker configs that weren't mapped out correctly for some reason my data is safe and that's the important part.

There should be one though. It's a backup of my flashdrive from last year.

Thank you for your answer. Trying to boot into safe mode makes Unraid unaccessabile via web gui. I have also tried to use the Safe Mode Gui Version but that also ended up in a "Not reachable" error message. How to I get around that to post the diagnostics? Ok, just realized that I can't connect to it at all anymore after the reboot other than via command line from the server itself. No connection is accepted to Unraid itself anymore. I was able to run the diagnostics tool via command line and extract the generated zip file. I will attach it here. I do hope it's annonymized.

I've had a lot of issues after an power outage in the sense that the docker page wouldn't load anymore and neither did the plugins page and decided to replace the flash drive. So far so good, I've followed the instructions as I did before and restarted the server. My flash backup was from October last year and I had since upgraded the server with another 14TB drive. Now, after rebooting into Unraid it's missing the 2TB drive, that was replaced by the 14TB drive and takes the 14TB drive as a new one and obviously wants to copmpletely format it when the array starts. Why this ios the behavior is obvious but I need a workaround to not loose the data on the 14TB disk. That was the first and smaller issue. The big one is that I can't activate the flash. When I want to go to the page where you can replace the key it's just empty with nothing on it. I also can't download the diagnostic since it is stuck on the following screen. Something's definetly not right here and I would hate to loose 16TB of data on my server. Please help me save it. I know I should've made a backup but I haven't for money reasons. I have already contacted support and they told me to come here.

Did you ever find the cause and a fix? My Nextcloud just started behaving the exact same way with the same errors in the logs. It's really frustrating.

I'm not sure if Linuxserver.io has abandoned the project. It's unusual to not get any response to any of the questions in over a week.

Fix: Somehow while updating NC the tmp folder was specified as mnt/usr/. Switched it back to mnt/user/ and everything is back being operational. It's a bit weird since I didn't change the path in the first place but here you go. Should you get the same issues check the tmp folder location in your docker config. Little update: I found the following in the logs: It also appears when I try to put Nextcloud into maintenance mode. I again ask for your help, @linuxserver.io and anyone else with knowledge. @linuxserver.io Hi guys, I have Nextcloud up and running for well over a solid year but I just noticed that I can't login anymore. When I try to login via the web UI it redirects me to the login page but changes the URL from to I have checked the logs. The php log just gave me the usual notices but the nginx error log threw me this: I have no idea what to do with that information and any help would be appreciated.

I have a rather big issue. I've accidentally nuked my /data directory with no backups available. I've created a new directory (called differently than the last one) but now get the error that the .ocdata is missing, which makes sense. Can somebody tell me how to fix the issue or does anyone have at least experience with this? I would really like to avoid setting it all up again.
