  1. I've got a new 4TB WD Red drive that I tired pre-clearing. The process ended as soon as it began with a message saying "Preclear Finished Successfully!" although it looks like the process may still be active (see attached screenshot). This is my third Preclear attempt. Same result the previous two times. Log attached. Is it possible for a new drive to instantly preclear only completing Step 1 of 5? preclear_report_WD-WXA2DA0176EK_2021.04.29_10.40.19.txt
  2. For whatever it's worth, I took advantage of a recent PLEX Lifetime Pass special ($89) and started using PLEXAmp. Other than the delay due to my discs spinning back up, I really couldn't be happier with it. Great platform. But that may change when I add a high-end streaming player to my system.
  3. So I think you're on to something here. I created a new profile and it picked up the series like normal (and like my son's profile). Which led to me to realize something. I was only adding the individual series sub-folder to my user profile; not the entire media folder in which it that sub-folder resides. Add the main folder that houses all the individual series sub-folders to my original user profile and it works fine. Apparently PLEX doesn't like it when you add one series' folder as a Library folder. Thanks for the tip.
  4. I didn't know where to post this, but General Support seemed best suited. I have had episode naming issues in the past, but this one has me stumped. I am running the linuxserver/plex docker container in which I have two separate user profiles set up; one for me and one for my son. I have had zero issues until I added the Pee-wee's Playhouse catalog this morning. My son's profile sees everything correctly as shown in the attached screen shot. My profile however sees things quite differently. My profiles shows each season as an unnamed separate series with no pictures, no meta data, and no episode naming. I have tried removing the folder from my library. I have tried re-scanning. I have tried re downloading the metadata. Evey time I add the media folder back to the library I get the same thing, yet my son's profile consistently sees it correctly. Any thoughts? Many thanks in advance.
  5. Dumb question...and I klnow; Google it....but what does Tidal do for you? And do you have a Plex pass?
  6. I too am in the same boat. Prior to setting up an unRAID server I used to use Logitech's Squeezebox Media Server on my Windows server. That is still up and running, but my old Squeezebox devices are slowly dying off one by one. So not only am I looking for new devices I am trying to figure out the server end of it as well. I am looking for a good way to serve up my music files both locally and remotely. Getting ready to play around with Jellyfin and see what happens. PLEX just isn't cutting for me as a music player.
