whenever i enable docker, after a few minutes none of my containers (or even my server cli itself) can access the internet. it's giving me name resolution errors. ping: google.com: Name or service not known. each docker service has it's own error for nameservice resolution as well. i have attached my diagnostics. joesserver-diagnostics-20230526-1942.zip

Basically the title. Everything has been running great for months, I actually recently re-installed docker. honestly i think its nextcloud then. ive tried everything. 😞 in my logs do u see all that shit going on with my network adapter changing modes or something? what is going on there? do u have any idea

attached is my diagnostic. basically intermittently all of my dockers will become unresponsive and take forever to load any action, im talking very frequently. the webui is also very slow and unresponsive. it's weird because i will notice that there is barely any disk or cpu activity taking place during all this. joesserver-diagnostics-20220908-0731.zip

I opt out of using something like plex because I like browsing my filesystem and keeping programs on my local machine linked to the shares. this has worked fine for years. i just built a new unraid box a few months ago and it's been running fine. though there is an issue thats cropped up recently (on all devices)... When i play a video or music file, it'll freeze, and buffer like crazy even minute. Not only that but it freezes my windows explorer too. I've also noticed that sometimes my main webui and other docker webuis are unavailable when i still can use the services on my network. ive looked around but i cant find anything specific to my issue. Either it's a limitation of SMB or something is broken, because i should have more than enough hardware to spare to play these files.

who should i contact for the extension? I will most likely have to power cycle my server in the next few days.

I started building parity on two 8tb drives, but it says theres only 4 hours remaining on my trial... will everything finish correctly? I dont get paid until next week....

all of my dockers dissapeared. should i just re-create them from the templates? they'll use the same appdata it'll just re-download the images right?

Oh, thanks a lot. I swear i read it like 5 times but still chose the wrong one. im waiting on a 500gb ssd to come in the mail for my vm data. i want to have it on a seperate ssd pool from my appdata.

for system i was able to just remake the docker file, but im not sure how to get my appdata on the cache now.

im actually in the process of doing this now. i set the shares to cache only but they're staying on the array. any suggestions on getting them on the new cache drives?

I went and examined it. All of the files turned out to be deleted trash files. Everything's working great how thanks a bunch,

Can you elaborate more on "And finally mover won't move duplicates, so there may be some additional cleanup to do after you get most of it moved to the array" It seems that even though the mover has moved off all of the files in my shares, it still has 300gb or so on it. i dont know what this data is. im assuming its related to what you told me about duplicates, so once the mover is done i should be safe to stop the array and change my drives, right?

Yeah, i expected the above which is why i am in the process of moving some shares to my array. In the meantime i don't currently have any vms (will in the future), but of course when i get my new cache installed it'll be on there, as well as appdata and system and whatnot. Thanks for the insight, youve helped me a lot i think i have it all figured out.

I also have one question not related to this topic, if i buy a license, do i have to buy a second one for my backup unraid server too?
