  1. I am also running into the the issue as @Moppen Response status code does not indicate success: 500 (Internal Server Error) during pairing. Any idea why this is happening? UI says "not connected" and folders are stuck on "queued" EDIT: completely unlinking the skill from the alexa app and relinking fixed this problem EDIT 2: apparently everything that this tool can do, Plex can do as well Unfortunately both announce what they are going to play "Ok, playing xxx by yyyyy from the album zzzzz Which is not really an option for me
  2. Would have been great Looking for a tutorial on how to setup pihole and lancache on the same machine. Will keep looking
  3. Hey ich777, first of all: thank you for all those docker templates you provide. Really appreciate them!! Recently I have been working with the LANCache-Prefill template and noticed that for BattleNet and Epic the Parameters are missing (SteamPrefill Parameters are present). Added the BattleNet one manually now for myself. Will these be added in the future? Is there a way to create some kind of pull request so that I could provide them? Kind regards Dustin
  4. Ok the "problem" here was the external USB Dock (ORICO Tool-Free 5 Bay). When connecting them all via SATA they can be individually pre-cleared. Is there a way to support USB Docks? Probably something to do with the identification of the drive?
  5. Hey I am trying to preclear 4 HDDs at the same time. After starting the preclear process for drive 1, unraid removes the preclear button next to ALL 4 HDDs and adds the "Preview Progress" button next to them (see image). Why is this happening? Kind regards Dustin
  6. Hey I am trying to preclear 4 HDDs at the same time. After starting the preclear process for drive 1, unraid removes the preclear button next to ALL 4 HDDs and adds the "Preview Progress" button next to them (see image). Why is this happening? Kind regards Dustin
  7. Drivers installed - a new Problem arose... I added a line to the syslinux config earlier: append initrd=/bzroot vfio-pci.ids=1b21:1142 This lead to the ssd not being discovered anymore. After removing that entry, now I can boot into windows again, but still the network is not available EDIT: Changing Network Model to virtio (duh) works now!!!! Thank you all for your help! Really appreciated!
  8. No, now yet, only when booting directly into windows. Will try preinstalling the virtio drivers now, hope that works.
  9. What if I booted into windows normally, could I just install the VM Network drivers?
  10. I tried every single possible combination, none worked. Maybe my config xml holds some clues? NAS.txt
  11. Unfortunately, that did not work I tried both Network Sources "virbr0" and "br0" with network Model e1000. Still no internet.
  12. Hey, I finally got around to giving unraid another go on my new NAS. After creating a VM and assigning the correct SSD, I am now on my windows login screen. Unfortunately, since the bios (TPM) changed, I need to "Set up my PIN" again. This can not be done without internet access. Until now I haven't found a way to install the virtio drivers without first logging into windows. Did anyone else run into this problem and found a solution? Kind regards Dustin
  13. Thanks for the quick reply! Ifeared this would be the case Will take a look into that!
  14. Hello everyone! I am new to unraid (and RAID in general) and I am looking into the best way to set up my new NAS. I hofe that you can help me out and answer my questions What I currently have: Thinkpad x240 3 8TB USB-Drives 3 5TB USB-Drives (1 main, 2 Backups of the main drive) What my end goal looks like: Ryzen 3900x 32GB ECC Ram 1TB M.2 Corsair Gen. 4 PCIe SSD ASRock x570M Pro 4 Motherboard 40TB of usable Disc Space For the drives: I calculated, that for this use case 7 6TB Drives would be the best solution (price and upkeep for 5 years). For parity I would use 2 12TB drives. As I understand, this should be possiblewith unraid and zfs. Another benefit would be that I could upgrade any 6TB drive at any time to a 12TB drive. Is this correct? Another question: would I also be able to upgrade the parity drives to 18TB each in the future, thus allowing me to upgrade the 6TB drives to 18TB later on? In order to save some money I am currently looking into setting up unraid on another, more powerful, laptop of mine and purchasing the 12tb parity drives right now, copying everything I currently have onto those two. Then I would set up unraid with zfs and use my existing 3 5TB drives with 2 8TB drives as parity. I would then have 15TB of storage in raid and 8TB left on another harddrive, which is enough for all my data (currently). Does unraid + zfs work with USB drives? What would I need for cache SSDs? What are they used for and how many would I need? I hope that you can help me! Kind regards Dustin
