did you mess with chmod and chown ? your perm seem off ... i will have to check thise a bit more closely....

can you do a ls -la /etc/pihole/ ls -la /etc/pihole/ inside the container please

what version are you runing ? in the last 48 hours , pihole push 3 versions

You do not seem to have anything in the backup dir.... you should have at least ".gc-status" file what is the setup of this share ? can you check inside the container what you have in /backups

This is the directory in which the SSH server key files and the SSH daemon config will be stored, so it needs to be persistent. only relevant to receiver..... i might go head and remove from Sender ....
