Hab es jetzt doch zum funktionieren gebracht. Plex wollte einfach nicht selber den richtigen treiber runterladen. Habe einfach den Drivers folder unter plex geloscht und in der Preference datei auch genau angegeben das der iHD nutzen soll. Hat sofort funktioniert.

Moin, Um zusammen zu fassen. Ich habe fur jahre plex auf einem i7 3770 laufen lassen mit iGPU und alles hat super funktioniert. Vor einer weile wurde mir bischen alte hardware geschenkt und ich habe eine ARC 380 karte bekommen. Mein neues setup ist ein Ryzel 3600 wo der Intel ARC gpu jetzt hinhalten soll fur das transcoding. Ich habe langsam gefuhlt alle schritte gemacht die man machen kann. Um die standart fragen zu beantworten. Ich habe einen Plex pass. GPU wird normal angezeigt in Unraid und die ist auch an Plex weiter geleitet und selectiert. Habe sogar in der Preference.xml die device verlinked. Intel-GPU-TOP ist auf der letzten version So wie GPU Stats. Ich kann die GPU Sehen auf der Dashboard auch wen die anzeige bischen instabil in Unraid 7.0.0-rc.2 grade wirkt. Das einzige problem was ich grade habe ist das wen ich ein video transcoden will bekomme ich im plex log [Req#b9e/Transcode] [FFMPEG] - Failed to initialise VAAPI connection: -1 (unknown libva error). Ich habe auch versucht den Codecs folder neu generieren zu lassen ohne viel gluck. Kurzzeitig hat es mit der GPU funktioniert als ich auf unraid 7 beta 4 war. Ich wusste jetzt nicht wo ich weiter schauen sollte. Meine ganzen google versuche landen meistens auf sachen die ich den schon gemacht habe oder probiert habe.

I am at a loss. Not sure what to do and where to look. I had my old server running quicksync from a iGpu and that thing never let me down. But with more users and I wanted AV1 support I got myself a A380 and swapped the whole MB and CPU for more Juice in general. Now I am on a AM4 platform so to get HW transcoding back A380 has to work. Which it did for a time. But last week I started having some Issues with the plex database. So I looked into it and made the appdata share exclusive. Now it seems happy when fetching meta data and reacts quicker in general. But for some reason the HW transcoding stopped working. I did not change anything in the general settings. Running Unraid 7.0.0 rc1 for the intel arc driver. My plex sees the GPU but won't use it. Is there any other way to bind it?

Sadly Memory Tweak seems to only work on graphics cards with GDDR5 or GDDR5X memory only. I can't make the edits stick somehow. I am tempted to run a VM and try overclocking/underclocking there.

The T-Rex Docker and the Nvidia Driver Plugin have been working for weeks now and are all great. But other than controlling the power limit. I can't change any of the GPU clock speeds with nvidia-smi. It's just one GPU but would still be a 10% increase in hash rate. I am using one RTX 3090.
