  1. New plugin model works great and all the new tweaks are nice. You might want to consider moving this thread into the plugins forum.
  2. Moved from b14 successfully with RC8a, the 'a' fixed the NIC detection issues i was having with RC6/8.
  3. So what's the deal with RC6+ and realtek onboard NICs? The 8111DL doesn't seem to like these newer builds and is not detected.
  4. Awesome! I just moved back to b14 from RC5 tonight due to IRQ issues but I'll give RC8 a shot.
  5. And I was so excited that WDC replaced my RMA'd EARS with EARX
  6. I'm having an issue with the email notify plugin.... The test emails work just fine but I've never received an actual email from the plugin. I've had parity checks, rebuilds from parity, etc but haven't heard a peep from the server.
  7. Good luck on the exam, I got mine a few months ago.
  8. Love this build, I really need to take the time to build a whitebox esxi server at some point. How do you like the blade center at home? I run a massive vSphere cloud at work on HS22Vs, but that's not something I want in my home lol.
  9. Rebuilding parity onto my Red at 98MB/s, I'm satisfied with the performance of these drives.
  10. Where are you guys finding M1015s so cheap? The SuperMicro AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 is $120CAD e-tail whereas the cheapest m1015 I've seen on ebay is $135 and the warranty situation is questionable.
  11. eww that's just wrong, I would probably go with the green. I just learned about wdidle today so now I feel slightly more confident in the longevity of my greens. I was able to get the Red from newegg.ca for $179.99 CAD.
  12. Reds only $20 more than Greens here, I feel like it's worth ti just for the extended warranty. I have another Seagate 1.5TB dying on me, I think I might grab a 3TB Red for to replace my 2TB Green parity disk.
  13. Hello, I'm running a pre-clear right now. Its a new 2TB EARX, connected to a Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 (also has 2 array drives connected to it), and I haven't seen the read speed pass 95MB/s. Is this a limit of the card? Should I be pre-clearing on mobo sata? Would I get better performance with a 3ware 9650SE-8LPML? Thanks,
  14. Does anyone know if this card supports link aggregation for SAS expanders?
  15. Hello, I would like to have hidden RW shares for my music and photos and another set of shares that are RO for network clients. Does unraid have this functionality built-in or do I just need to create my own shares using samba at the CLI? Thanks,
  16. this month's parity check is having the same issue, 2500KB/s. Before these past two occurrences it ran fast and without issues. Here's the zip of my syslog files: http://www.mediafire.com/?i3zcyb95448akt9 thanks for any help you can give.
  17. oops, my bad. They were too big to attach so I uploaded them: http://www.mediafire.com/?gbk6ka3c44g9142
  18. Joe, I do have monthly checks enabled. I am concerned about the rate at which it is going though. 2.5MB/s is brutally slow, if i recall it should be closer to 25-30MB/s. I'm worried I might have a drive that's on it's way out and I need to figure out which one so I can replace it.
  19. Hello, My server started a parity check last night (i got a notification email). This morning it's only at 4% and is going at 2.5MB/s. My syslog has nothing in it other than "Oct 1 04:40:01 Vault13 syslogd 1.4.1: restart." and after that its just the ssl connections made to send me parity check status emails. The server runs on a UPS so it shouldn't have been rebooted due to power blip. I guess I'm just looking for my next step, I assume one of the drives is bad. Thanks for any tips. *Edit* I'm using 4.7
  20. I gotta say after using Plush tonight on 0.6 I actually kind of like it now. I was forcing myself to use it on 0.5.x since classic is on its way out, and I didn't really care for it at all. Now all I need is unraid 5.0 final with ant's GUI and I'll be most satisfied
  21. I just dropped in the sab 0.6.0 python code and it's all good. I also upgraded my SABnzbdDependencies-2.9-i486-unRAID.tgz to 2.1. 0.6.0 works fine with 2.0 fyi.
  22. I remember attempting to upgrade of one of the 0.6.x betas but it didn't work properly and i had to roll back. I'll give it another shot.
  23. Is there an easy way for updating to 0.6.0 final for 0.5.x installed via this thread's method?
  24. I'm using it. It works great. Just a note that SATA 7 runs off of an on-board Realtek chipset. Just make sure to configure it to use AHCI in BIOS.
  25. Thanks a lot Joe! Using this for everything I download except for what sickbeard downloads, that gets moved to the array automagically. Gives me a chance to do metadata/renaming and all that jazz before writing to the array. Plus a lot of the movies I DL aren't worth keeping so I assume it keeps array fragmentation down.
