  1. Hello @Frank1940, sorry for long delay in following up here, but work took me out of town for weeks. I turned "Use SSL/TLS" to yes, and now I can connect to my tower from PC, but it is flagging it as "unsecured", I believe that is because of the re-direct. Any way, I am all good to go now and thank you for your help.
  2. Thank you @Frank1940, I forgot to mention that my PC is Win 2011, I also have a laptop running 2011, which stopped connecting as well. I will give your advice a shot and report asap.
  3. I think that it's been about 2 weeks since I have logged into the unRaid dashboard through my PC, but all of the sudden the connection is refused. As far as I can tell, nothing has changed on my end, other than AVG recently had a big update but I turned off it's firewall and protection completely to ensure that was not the problem, and no help. Plex works fine, from home and remotely. I can even navigate the folders through Windows Explorer, but trying to log in through the web I get denied. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...
  4. Bingo @itimpi, I thank you for that advice, booted up perfectly. Greatly appreciated!
  5. Thank you @itimpi. I will give that a try, is there anything special I have to do to preserve the "plus" account I paid for?
  6. I have done some searching and not finding anything as to what I am experiencing. I re-booted my system because windows file explorer was lagging badly, after about 10 minutes, I was still not able to get into unRaid, so I connected my monitor /keyboard and power cycled. It now locks up on loading /bzroot...ok. Booting into safe mode does nothing more. I have been running this server for a few years now, and have been on a most recent update for a few months with no problems. There was nothing that seemed out of the ordinary, and I haven't been messing with the box at all. I would like to try booting the USB to my PC, but not sure if I will mess anything up with my current system doing that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Losing this system would be quite devastating.
  7. Hello Kizer, sorry for the delay getting back, had to get out to a customers site to help out with a project. So last thing I tried was pinging yahoo.com, thinking that was the proper commend, and 100% loss. Today I tried ping 74.6.231.21 and had good response. Everything seems to be working, everywhere else. Plex connects from my home as well as on the road. Docker updates work, no problem. Community App installed. Seems that the only issue is the plugin page with all plugin's "checking" status.
  8. Seems that I can not, but I don't know for sure. I tried pinging Yahoo from terminal and it's hung up here: I am able to connect to Plex, so I thought I was good to go. I will look for instruction on fixing that and get back if the problem consists. Thank you for the pointer!
  9. Thank you kizer, but no luck. Even logged in from another browser, nada.
  10. Seem to have a problem here with Installed Plugins. I noticed it when I could not see "unassigned devices" on my main tab anymore. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. One thing my researching has led me to was to ensure my timezone is correct, it was not, but now is. Everything else is updated.
  11. I am wondering what the ramifications might be on rebuilding my drives with clean, unfragmented, data? I have copied everything over to a backup drive and would like to organize my server with specific files/folders. Other than the parity drive having to be re-built, would there be anything I should be aware of? Thank you in advance for the advice.
  12. I upgraded to the latest OS and now my system is acting up. Lost all my share drives, docker is no longer working and I can not get into Tower from my Win 10 PC on the network. This last issue might have been some other security setting that I messed with, but that is not the important thing here, right now. I am hoping that I can restore my USB drive to the flash backup file I created just prior. From reading some of the other topics, I may have to reconfigure docker. The only app I had in there is Plex, and the path is not pointing to the right place, because it used to reside in a share folder which no longer exists. If restoring from the flash download is an option, is it as simple as writing the contents of the zip to a new thumb drive? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Attached is the latest diag's file, if needed. tower-diagnostics-20210828-1222.zip
  13. Hello all, I want to thank you for your help on this problem. With your help I was able to get 95% of my files back. Most of what I lost are old TV shows that I don't care too much about anyway. Things are up and running. Now I will go after upgrading to the newest stable version and fixing some directory structuring issues I created. Great to know that this forum has such great response! Cheers, CB...
  14. Dang it: root@Tower:~# reiserfsck --rebuild-sb /dev/sde1 reiserfsck 3.6.27 Will check superblock and rebuild it if needed Will put log info to 'stdout' Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes if you do):Yes Failed to open the device '/dev/sde1': Unknown code er3k 127 root@Tower:~#
  15. Thank you JorgeB, this is how I will finish up with this drive. Learning alot here. Thank you for your patience and follow up. I will post on how it goes!
  16. Knowing my situation, which command would you use? reiserfsck --check /dev/md3 -> checks file system for errors reiserfsck --fix-fixable /dev/md3 -> fixes file system errors reiserfsck --rebuild-tree /dev/md3 -> rebuilds the file system (may have lost files) reiserfsck --rebuild-tree -S /dev/md3 -> rebuilds the file system from entire partition (may have lost files, may recover old deleted files or their pieces) reiserfsck --rebuild-sb /dev/md3 -> rebuilds superblock based on series of questions, answers MUST be accurate! Please see the Rebuilding the superblock section below.
  17. Yep, I did not correlate. Oh well, lesson learned. I will dig into the wiki link. Thanks again.
  18. This is definitely something I will look into. At least to see if there is anything on the drive.
  19. Here is how it's showing up: Little history, I was able to mount 3 of my 4 drives as unassigned devices to move the data onto new array. This drive is one that I thought I could put into my Desktop to get the files, which is probably what i did wrong right off the bat. What I was really hoping to do here is start a new temp unraid server with old array disks installed and see if I could get disk 4 to rebuild from the parity disk. Here is what came with that attempt: From there I went a little astray.
  20. I believe you are right, however, I did the XFS repair already. Now running reiserfsck gives me this: root@Tower:~# reiserfsck --check /dev/sde1 reiserfsck 3.6.27 Will read-only check consistency of the filesystem on /dev/sde1 Will put log info to 'stdout' Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes if you do):Yes Failed to open the device '/dev/sde1': Unknown code er3k 127 root@Tower:~#
  21. Hello JorgeB, looks like no luck here: XFS-Repair returned this: "....Sorry, could not find valid secondary superblock" Now let me ask you this, if the drive was not formatted XFS, is it toast? I didn't even consider that before I did the repair command. Not a huge issue, as I have regained 90% of what was on my original array. If it's gone it's gone. Mostly just have to find some old TV series and a few movies I lost. Either way, I sincerely appreciate your help.
  22. Oh, I did not know if I stopped it. I will run again.
  23. root@Tower:~# xfs_repair -nv /dev/sde1 Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... bad primary superblock - bad magic number !!! attempting to find secondary superblock... ........................................... .............................................^C
