  1. Happy to report back that at 9pm ET last night, after letting the install do its thing for a large portion of yesterday, that I was able to successfully login through the GUI and execute my first scan. This thing is pretty cool. Really appreciate the work to make this happen. What is everyone testing? Are you entering in a range of IPs which include your server? I ended up testing a pretty large range of IPs across my entire network. Hoping to see Nessus capture everything on my network. Any particular type of test that you recommend? Anyone recommend using any particular plugin?
  2. So I'm still having this same issue. My session sat on "Initializing" from 9:05am ET until 1:35pm ET and appeared to do nothing. Since it didn't move, I refreshed the page and got the "This site can't be reached" message. Then I restarted the Nessus docker container and the GUI now displays but still says "Initializing". Is this normal to sit on "compiling plugins" for this long? Any suggestions on how to resolve?
  3. Following the link above has a comment and link to the following Github -- https://github.com/cslev/find_veth_docker As I'm very new to Unraid and Linux, can someone please help me understand where I would enter this information in? I tried in the terminal for Unraid and also the console of one of the dockers I'm trying to figure out the Veth.. In both locations I've tried entering.. sudo ./find_veth_docker.sh -n nextcloud
  4. Thanks! My activation email was never sent after requesting one within the setup workflow of Nessus Essential, so this did the trick! From my experience, it should be noted (if not already above) that you must have a business email address when requesting an activation code. Some quick research pointed to this not always being the case, so something to keep in mind. I originally tried with my Gmail but that didn't work. Crossing my fingers installing goes smoother this time. I tried several weeks ago and gave up after setup appeared to hang on "Initializing - Compiling plugins...". I gave up after a couple hours of the loading bar not moving. Looks to be doing the same thing but will give it awhile to see what happens. Can anyone else chime in on whether this is normal?
  5. Yes! That must have been it. I just looked in the settings and it's scheduled to auto backup at 5am everyday. I went to CA backup/restore status right after I read the above and it said "not running", but also noted that it was starting each of my Dockers. Went back to the docker section and all of the Dockers were started automatically again. Didn't realize that happened. Appreciate the quick response!
  6. Hey guys, I woke up this morning and noticed that all my docker containers were off unexpectedly. Initially I found out because my subdomain didn't load. Not really sure why this would have happened. Looks like some exited between 5:06am and 5:07am and then never restarted. How would I be able to tell what caused this? Looking in my settings, they're not scheduled to be updated until (weekly) on Sundays at 2am.
  7. Hey gang -- I have a Lenovo Thinkstation D20 with 48GB (6x8GB) of Hynix ECC RAM (purchased separately via eBay) that has been running well the past year. The stock motherboard is running two XEON processors, with the RAM occupying only 6 DIMM slots out of 12 total (i.e. 3 per CPU). I was just looking in the system profiler section of unRaid, and noticed that one of my sticks of RAM is actually different from the others. I'm not familiar with RAM terminology and could use your help making sense of some of the numbers and how to proceed. 5 out of 6 sticks are the below (PC-8500): https://www.memory4less.com/hynix-8gb-ddr3-pc8500-hmt31gr7afr4c-g7 1 out of 6 sticks are the below (PC-10600): https://www.memory4less.com/hynix-8gb-ddr3-pc10600-hmt31gr7bfr4c-h9 Is this ok that they're different? From what I gather, which is what I'm looking to have validated, is that it's fine because the voltage is the same (1.5) so the PC-10600 stick would just run slower to the speed of the PC-8500 sticks. Is that correct? Also, it looks like the CAS is different between the two, but a website I saw, said that shouldn't really matter in this case, as there's no discernable difference between the two. Would you agree? ADDITIONALLY -- Once I figure the above out, the overall goal is to add 48GB of additional RAM. Since I've never worked with server hardware before, is there a particular direction I should proceed when adding more to my current build? I.e. should I focus on sticking with Rank 2 instead of adding Quad Rank ECC Ram? Should I stick with PC-8500 overall or can I mix and match under each CPU? Using what I have now, should I move all the PC-8500 under one processor and use only PC-10600 under the other CPU? Just looking for general advice on how people would recommend proceeding. The above is all I could think of.. Thanks!
  8. Can anyone help me with this? I'd really appreciate the advice as I'm still a beginner with Unraid. Would like to "officially" ignore or fix these errors.
  9. UPDATE: I ended up using "unbalance" from Community Applications to move the remaining files from the cache to my disk. I then swapped my 250GB SSD with my 1TB, used mover to move everything back, and everything worked except for Plex. Thankfully had a backup of my appdata from a couple days ago that saved me, and once I utilized that, I remapped the 1TB ssd and everything worked. Thank God for CA Appdata backup... Saved me tons of hours reconfiguring Plex.
  10. I could use some help troubleshooting two errors. Any thoughts on what I should do? 1. "Machine Check Events detected on your server." 2. Marvel Hard Drive Controller Installed (I've ignored this one because I don't appear to be having issues, but am curious about the group's thoughts now that #1 above appears to be new.) t-800-diagnostics-20210624-1510.zip
  11. I've rerun Mover after enabling logging and have attached the below diagnostic report. Does anything jump out to anyone? t-800-diagnostics-20210624-1510.zip
  12. Gotcha. I looked through both again and found where the actual files are at. I'd say going through Plex is going to be really tedious to do and doesn't seem like there'd be much upside, right? Example: Plex folder on cache drive has file not in the same directory of Disk 3. Example 2: Krusader folder on cache drive has different files not in the same directory of Disk 3.
  13. So I opened the Cache drive in Krusader and a 20-30 minute review shows that it's not moving over some of the files from some of the different docker containers. They're nothing that I understand, as most are either logs (in the case of Krusader) or subtitle files (in the case of Plex). In the attached example below for Plex, the list of files on the left is what got moved over to Disk 3. While on the right, is what remains in the same directory on the cache drive that didn't get moved over. Am I able to determine anything from this? I'm not really familiar with Krusader, but does this mean that the mover just didn't move over duplicate files? I underlined in the image below two files that appear to be the same. Trying to understand my next steps here: 1. Should I be backing up anything at this point and then proceed with switching out the cache drive? 2. Attempt to use Krusader or another program to move over the remaining appdata folder into Disk 3? 3. Not worry about backing anything up and just proceed with switching out the cache drive? Apologies if I'm making this out to be more concerning that it is. Just having difficulty understanding WHY stuff got left behind when I invoked the 'Mover'. Edit 2:56pm: I've been able to find a similar thread to mine from Feb 2021. Looking at @Trul's comment on the 5th, it was recommended to turn on 'mover logging' under scheduler to see what is returned.
  14. Should I use Krusader, Midnight Commander, or Unbalance to move the remaining 163MB to Disk 3? Is that a good approach for my situation?
  15. Ok done. Looks like almost all of my appdata got moved to Disk 3, but for some reason 163MB has remained.
  16. How would I tell? If I go into the file explorer in unraid, I can see appdata -> (folders for the different apps listed in my original post -- Plex, Overseerr, Nginx, and Krusader)... if I select Plex, I can see sub-directories. If I keep going deeper into the subdirectories I eventually get the point where I can't go further and it says "No listing: Too many files". From the few directories I've looked at in unraid, all other levels (except for the deepest one mentioned) show 0 files. Does this make sense? Is there any better way of double checking this?
  17. I have an existing cache pool below that I'm trying to move everything off of, and replace my smaller 250GB ssd with another 1TB MX500.. However, as you can see below, even after I've invoked the 'Mover' it's still leaving behind 64.2MB. Selecting the folder under 'view' for the cache pool shows there's several items remaining under appdata (krusader, Nginx, overseerr, and PlexMediaServer) (Unraid version 6.9.2) Crucial 1TB MX500 SSD Samsung 250GB SSD Total size of pool: 625GB Currently being used (after 'Mover' is envoked): 64.2MB Currently free: 249GB Steps I've followed (and double checked) 1. Stopped all docker containers. 2. Stopped all virtual machines. 3. Disabled docker. 4. Disabled VM Manager. 5. Selected, Compute Shares on the 'Shares' screen. 6. Set all shares to 'Yes' for "Use Cache". 7. Invoked 'Mover' Expectation: After following the above steps, I would have expected to see no more data on the cache pool. Please note: this is my very first post and am still new to Unraid, but please let me know if you need any logs and I can accommodate. I've been reading a bunch of other posts about similar issues, but can't seem to correct this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
