Hello guys i have a problem , a user error i had a pool of 2x4 tb in single mode Later on i added 2 more 4tb to the pool witch happen to be automaticly to single for a total of 16tb to the pool, but problem is , i moved with mc from my old m.2 ssd the docker iso to the the pool, and with my stupility i converted the pool to raid 10, so i lost that docker iso, and i don’t know how to re-create the iso so dockers wont start, on other hand do anyone know how to recover the iso file from the old m.2 ssd , i have not writed to that ssd so i was thinking if there exist some trustable file recovery prog for btrfs, that i can use in windows or maby unraid it self, so yeah i hope someone can help me,

sorry for late reply , when this happends , at transfering interupt or deleting files on the unraid via windows network in unraid 6.10 rc2 , i dont have access to my unraid via windows network, also i notice unraid having a high load on my cpu core, and here the log another thing i noticed is that unraid 6.10 rc2 wont show up in networks but is still accessable by typing //twilight-tower

hello guys, first off all my unraid system specs CPU: AMD Ryzen™ Threadripper 3960X 24 Cores/48 Threads/Base Clock 3.8GHz/Boost Clock 4.5GHz CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3 Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Master TRX40 Video Card: Gigabyte Aorus GeForce GTX 1080Ti , 11GB Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600 (CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18) Expansion Card: DELL/LSI SAS 9207-8i IT Mode SATA/SAS 6Gb/s PCI-E 3.0 Host Bus Adapter 27NFF Expansion Card: Intel RAID Storage Expander RES2SV240 E91267-203 SAS SATA 6Gb 24 Port Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL Black Case Fans: Fractal Design Stock Fans (5x) Power Supply: Seasonic Focus PX-1300 Platinum Fully Modulair (1300w) Storage NVME: 3x Samsung 970 EVO 1TB Storage SSD: 2x Samsung 870 QVO 4TB Storage SSD: 1x Crucial MX300 525GB (CT525MX300SSD4) Storage SSD: 2x Western Digital 2TB WD Blue 3D NAND (WDS200T2B0B-00YS70) Storage HDD: 2x TOSHIBA MG09 18TB Enterprise (MG09ACA18TE) Storage HDD: 6x TOSHIBA MG07 14TB Enterprise (MG07ACA14TE) Storage HDD: 4x Western Digital RED 10 TB (WD100EFAX-68LHPN0) Storage HDD: 2x Western Digital RED 2 TB (WD20EFRX-68EUZN0) Storage External SSD: 2x Crucial X6 2TB USB-C secontly, the vm is a windows 10 gaming what hhappend i try to explain what i all did, 2 days before new year unraid started the sceduled partity check, in that time i setted up a vm , that vm have passed through gpu, nvme, it all worked well i stetted up the whole windows, i made a mistake, i had a usb hub with 2 micro sd in a card reader, and mounted them, and unraid somehow only saw 1 of them, i mounted that one, in krusader all 3 where mounted while unraid only showed 1 in unassigned devices, i tried to unmount them only the first one i could unmount, so after partity check i did a reboot and a bios upgrade for my motherboad, i updated bios from FB to FCA, FB worked fine i guess, i did restored the following settings in bios, not anything fancy, fan profiles, disabled turbo boost, disabled rgb, changed first boot to unraid usb, svm enabled, so unraid started up and the vm didnt wnat to boot, somehow the tiano core bios don't see any passed through devices the windows boots fine from dual boot, so it isn't broken with the people in the following discord channels vfio, unraid, linux x technoligy we did some troubleshooting, and we could not slove it what i have tried, removed in vm xml <boot dev='hd'> and under my ssd as guides showed i placed <boot order='1'> that did not slove anything, binded an 2nd nvme and added that to the vm, but no luck tiano core don't see it, i tried the following bios settings (FCa) turned IOMMU to enable, disable fTPM, (witch is on by default now) this didnt slove it, updated alternative bios FA to FB or so i could switch, but no luck here some more details as it is now VM XML https://clbin.com/76rSs dmesg https://clbin.com/87e3g qemu.conf https://clbin.com/IBvpl i dont know if i missed any importand details, just let me know and how to, we are at loss, maby someone here can support further

hello guys, i have a problem, i recently got a other motherboard, motherboard: asus ROG STRIX TRX40-E GAMING updated bios to the latests cpu: amd threadripper 3960X ram 4x 8gb ddr4 corsair vangeance lpx 3600mhz 2 gpu's now, slot 1 : 1080ti slot 2: Radeon HD 5000/6000/7350/8350 Series slot 3: lsi 9201 i somehow can not get my board to boot with the ati for unraid, i can not find any option for it, so i gone to unraid and binded the 1080ti, someone told me unraid should automaticly switch to the 2nds gpu, not sure if it do, in vm cratiion i set the gpu and audio from nvidia card, but get no picture, so i changed it abit and added vnc as first and 1080ti as 2nd to see if vm realy boots, and yes it do , but windows say code 43 here is the vm xml https://pastebin.com/cpExxMQr so i don't know what i am doing wrong or if the 2nd gpu is doing anything at all thing is i can swap the ati to main slot but then i have a problem that the big boy cover the other dslots where i have my lsi 9201 in so if someone is kind to help me out with this, thanks

hello guys, i have a problem, a few days ago windos 10 vm worked fine with gpu passthrough, i had 2 nvme 1 parity 1 in array (as test) installed windows vm on it and some plugins/scripts the problem i have now caused after i did new config, yesterday i did a new config, i putted my 2nvme in cache, added 2x10 and 2x 2 tb nas drives my vm is now installed on the cache drives i copied my vbios file back to the unraid hdd, i copied my vm back to unraid, i setted iommu enabled for gpu so it binds, audio and video like i had before, when i start up the pc it do its usual thing and stop posting screen when it reach gpu, once unraid is booted, i re-created my vm and linked back the old vbios and disk files, when i start the vm, screen turns black, i waited like 5 mins but no reaction what could be wrong ? i have not touched any motherboard settings, maby i overlook something in the vm creation part but i doubt it i also re-created the vbios file, and it all sucseed without any errors when i launch that script, but still the same, black screen

i sloved it, with support of discord people and forums, i had to change my mobo settings to legacy, i recreated the usb with no uefi, and yes it all works fine for now, iommu checked gpu audio/video and the vbios i used is created with that script from that youtube video, i assume he knows what he created , so far so good it all works except i wont get full resolution of 5120x1440, but i think thats because the hdmi cable i use,

i re-created the unraid usb with uefi disabled, booted into unraid with uefi off in bios, or so i think it is off because it boots , unraid started just fine, started trial again , gone to the vm, swapped vbios files to see witch one would not give problems, but windows keep saying there is a problem, but atleast it shows video , at a lovely 800x600 this is what vm log says

yes i had to enable uefi when creating the usb because i got kicked into bios when i wanted to load unraid, and i didn't know why , but since you mentioned that , i checked bios again, and i think i disabled uefi in bios since the vm runs now but it wont reconize the gpu , it do see the gpu, but it disabled it or stopped because it reports problems i tried all bios files i have modded

Hello people, i am new to unraid, first off all my hardware amd ryzen 7 3700x 16gb ddr4 3600mhz corsair vengeance gigabyte aorus 1080ti asus rog strix gaming-x x570 unraid trial i want to run a windows 10 vm i folowed this video but somehow it go different for me, windows vm don’t want to run i get the errors , i also tried binding but result stay the same, i gave it multiple tries, as you see the vm screen shots had gtx in front of file name , i don’t know what is wrong , the error screenshot is the gpu adress, i also tried to re-create gpu bios with enabled binding but that don’t work, i need some support fellas,

hello guys, a question, is there a backup app like hbs3 from qnap ? i tried dupplicati, with encryption, it do work but not like the way i expected to, i have a ton of stuff fansubs and it is all sorted, it's like 30tb, but from the test runs i did, it don't upload it the way i have it on the hdd, it zip all files in 1 large file, i also miss the options like mirror, delete files from cloud that don't exist on hdd, because replaced with other versions, what hbs3 do is check if files exist and skip them , files that don't exist on hdd it delete's from the cloud backup if i have to run this 50tb each week it will never be done, as i update old files, if dupplicati have to rebuild that file everytime it will take a long while, or so i guess

That is the point , i cant install windows because screen blacks out, i created vm with gpu passtrough so remote to windows , is that possbile without it being installed ?

hi, im new to unraid i build this unraid pc with left over parts ASRock x570 Pro4 Aorus 1080 TI 16 GB DDR4 3600mhz Ryzen7 3700x i like to get some help with this, i want to make a DIY nas since buying a nas is much more expansive, fromtalking to people they say unraid is the most simple one , yet i can not find my way through it , what i plan to do with the nas is set up a a gaming windows vm, a torrent client with rss to auto download my torrents, i am trying to set up dupplicati for cloud backup but no luck in that yet, for the windows vm, i tried to set it up as shown but some how i get black screen on the unraid pc but the remote gui still works fine as for the dupplicati, i cant find my test folder so that ican test a small file to backup, see the screen shots from what i did already,
