  1. OK, I know, I know I'm being stupid.

I want to test out this Plex-poster-helper script on my unriad system.

But I'm getting myself in knots on how to install it somewhere where I can remove it if it doesn't work for me.

    Heres the script:- https://github.com/bbrown430/plex-poster-set-helper

I thought about just copying the script into "user scripts" and pointing the config director to somewhere on the appdata folder, but wasn't sure if this was the best way. or if I should try and get a container for it ?

Any directions would be greatly received.

    Thanks all.

    D.

  2. Hi,

Yes, here are my share settings (I've just tried forcing lower case).

I think it needs to be SMB 1 for the PS2 to connect.

Here are some settings I've found from another post here:- OPL SMB Configuration Guide

    [global]

    client min protocol = CORE

    client max protocol = NT1

    server max protocol = SMB3

    server min protocol = LANMAN1

    strict sync = no

    keepalive = 0

    Its a bit old though

  3. Ok, no bear with me I’m trying something new here I’m hoping some else

has succeeded in getting to work.

I have an old PlayStation 2 and have for my hands on a network adapter for it and Free Mcboot (this has an app called OPL) that allows you to play PS2 iso games over a network.

a perfect use case for Unraid I thought.

now there’s some chatter on the net that it only works with SMB 1.0. There some chat it works with SMB 2/3.0.

has anyone else Here managed to get it to work. When I put all the details in it says it cannot log into smb share (which means it sees it, just can’t login).

    any pointers much appreciated.

I’ve created a share and a user account to access it. All lowercase and no hyphens just to be on the safe side. Still can’t get OPL to log in.

    Cheers All.

  4. Hi All,

I've just updated unraid from 6.11.5 to 6.12.4 and everything has come back up fine other than my Hemidall container that causes an

    Execution error

    Server error

whenever i try and restart the container. I've tried deleting the container and reinstall but thats not helped.

Has anyone else had this problem ?

I've attached the logs which I hope will help.

    Cheers

    D.

EDIT - OK, its defo to do with the second port 443, when i change this it runs but unraid wont load the web address. any help greatly appreciated

No benefits at all as long as you are using it for transcoding.

The answer changes a bit if you use it for other things than transcoding because you get performance improvements for Cuda accelerated workloads or if you are using the card with the Steam-Headless container.

Thanks @ich777 keep up the good work !

Its good to know I'm not missing out on anything, my instinct is to always keep up with the latest updates, be that unraid or your drivers. it comforting to know that in this instance, if it aint broke don't update :)

  6. Hi,

    Probably VERY stupid question! (Sorry).

But what is the benefit of keeping the driver up to date if v470.141.03 is working as expected ?

I use a nvida GTX 1650 for plex transcoding in docker.

What are the benefits to moving to say v525.89.02 ?

    Thanks

    D.

  7. Sooooooo a couple of things.

Did you run the script from within the Plex container console ?

And did you stop the Plex service first from within the container console ?

    I think its:-

    # Stop Plex in binhex containers

kill -15 $(pidof 'Plex Media Server')

Not sure how to restart it though, but once your DB is fixed restarting the container should bring it back.

That's the extent of my knowledge sorry

  8. Hi,

I've had a couple of issues since my upgrade.

My system completely crashed after a couple of days (and the CPU was pinned at 100%) and I had to do a reboot. I managed to grab the below however & I hoped someone in the know could take a look and let me know if there is anything obviously wrong ?

    Thanks

  9. I'm on 6.9.2 I tried to upgrade but most of my docker containers that rely on SQLite DB's (Plex, Tautulli, others) all got corrupted so i had to downgrade to 6.9.2. (No more corruptions since)

I'd hope that "My Servers" would have provided support for at least the last stable release "6.9.2" before the big leap to "6.10.x" ?

    My forum thread is here

  10. 20 minutes ago, JorgeB said:

That's not a general issue or there would be a lot of people complaining, did you ever create a bug report with the diagnostics after the problem occurs?

Obviously not, that would have been too easy :)

I don't think I'm the only one with this issue, however it might not be as wide spread as a general bug.

I had hoped someone else would have raised a ticket, I guess I'll have to upgrade to the new stable release and see what happens and then downgrade again if it craps out (But this time get the logs)
