  2. Yesterday, one of the SSDs in my pool of 2 SSDs failed, leaving me with a dead drive. I replaced it with a new SSD of the same size. However, despite the replacement, BTRFS isn't initiating the repair for the RAID on this pool. Additionally, I'm receiving emails indicating that the second SSD in the pool is 'missing' only when the array is stopped. While I can restart the array, whenever I attempt to move the Vdisk to the array to replace the other SSD, the transfer speed drops drastically to 2-5Mb/s with an estimated time of 1600 hours, as the Vdisk image is 2TB. For troubleshooting so far I have: Tried different cables and ports on my Motherboard Tried rebooting the Server Tried using file explore to move the vdisk tried using Cli to copy the vdisk All attempts to move the data to the array temporarily start at normal speeds then after about a minute drop to 2-5Mbs It's worth noting that when I check the status using 'btrfs replace status /mnt/pool_name', it shows 'never started' for the pool in question. Any thoughts or advice on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. I'm concerned about the data on this Vdisk and want to ensure it's not lost. Thank you." tower-diagnostics-20240204-1624.zip
  3. Thanks for the reply, I put 2 sticks in and tried those with members, passed after about 2 hours. Moved the sticks to the other 2 slots and ran it again with all 4 sticks installed and it passed as well. rebooting into unraid to see if I can find a pattern of when the issue comes up after the server starts. anything else I should try? Update: I swapped the Gskill RAM to Corsair ram and the “ hardware error” appeared in the log once again. Could it be an issue with the processor or motherboard? Is there a way to diagnose that or just swapping out to new components and checking if the issue persists?
  4. Hello, Im getting the following Errors in my system log. was wondering if someone would be able to help me understand what they are pointing to as the cause? System is a 13900k I had 128gbs of memory installed but removed 2 sticks to see if that was part of the issue. Currently running 64Gbs. 5. Thanks! I have a 9207 8i coming hopefully this weekend, fingers crossed system holds together until then. Thank you for the replies.
  6. Thanks for the reply, I had taken a Marvell 9215 SATA expander from a previous system when building my unraid server and haven’t noticed issues until rebuilding the array… will swapping to an LSI LSI00301 SAS/sata card be the solution? Or would you recommend another part? thank you
  7. Hello all, Im was hoping to get some help diagnosing very slow (10-25MB/s) data rebuild speeds on my system after I replaced a drive that failed last week. In the disk logs I see I have the following errors on couple of my drives. 8. Got it, thank you for the responses!
  9. Sorry, I should have specified. I only have one computer that would be connecting to the ISCSI itself. Any other connections to the unraid shares would be through VMs on the system itself. Would that still cause issue? Thanks!
  10. hi @ich777 Wondering if this plugin is what im looking for to connect to a windows 10 Machine? Ideally id like to use my unraid share volumes as the main data point for an archive for Family photos and Videos... I apologize if this is a stupid question I was about to install the plugin and then got worried about the data on the shares... Thanks in advance!
