Krusader and Filebot VERY slow to load.
I'm running 7.2.0. My Arr stack apps load very quickly - a second or two, but the two VNC apps, Krusader and Filebot take forever - Krusader can take 4 or 5 minutes to load. I'm configured according to Trash's guide. Can anybody suggest what I can do to speed things up? Thanks Fogey

Apps using VNC very slow to load
Up until the last few days, all my apps have loaded very quickly - a second or tow and I'd be in them. However, now Krusader and Filebot are VERY slow to load - they can take several minutes to load. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks Fogey

Unable to connect to Apps
I had a stable Unraid system running for over 5 years on IP 192.168.2.66 and yesterday some over-enthusiastic gardener pruned a tree - and it brought my Internet Cable down. They've just relaid a new fibre cable and when I started Unraid today, it gave me a new IP of 192.168.2.25. I can start up and see Unraid on that new IP, but none of the apps will run on it - they all tell me they can't find the server on 192.168.2.25. I wondered if I should re-install them, but I've checked in the Docker tab and all are showing the new 192.168.2.25 IP under the LAN IP Column. I've not had this happen before - my first installation was years ago and I've forgotten how to fiddle with getting these apps set up. Can anyone suggest where Im going wrong and what I can do? Thanks Fogey

Configuration problem
In his latest video, SpaceinvaderOne explains that he restricts the drives where various media types go - i.e. Tv on Drive 1, Movies on Drive 2 etc. He goes on to say that he can then spin down drives when they are not being used, which is more likely if a client is watching only a tv show for instance. But how do you restrict media types to specific drives? I set up my shares in accordance with Trash's system, so I have a Media Share with directories for various media types hanging off the Media share. So the Media is the share but my Movies go in a folder. Therefore, how do I link a folder to a drive under this system? Can anybody suggest how this works am I missing something obvious?

[Support] binhex - Sonarr
Thanks, BinHex - I hadn't spotted the Z pool was full - I guess my Mover settings aren't clearing the cache fast enough. I've sorted it now - thanks so much for your help.

[Support] binhex - Sonarr
I'm running Sonarr in a Docker Container on Unraid. Yesterday, I noticed that most of my TV files seemed to have disappeared from my drives. In some cases, whole series would have gone - in other cases, only one or two files were missing. Many of the files have been there a long time and they were all complete. I've been re-downloading files all day, but Sonarr has been throwing intermittent "sql"database errors, and has finally stopped and will no longer start up. I've enclosed the Sonarr log file - it ends with 'non-recoverable failure"..... Can anybody suggest a solution? Thanks Fogey Sonar Log.pdf

[Support] binhex - SABnzbd
I'm using SABNZB remotely using Tailscale. Previously it has worked well, and I'm not aware that any changes have been made to my setup, but SABNZB is now showing "External internet access denied - https://sabnzbd.org/access-denied". It won't let me access its GUI, but it is still working and downloading properly. The Log is as follows: 2025-02-08 13:50:57,123 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: 2025-02-08 13:50:57,123::INFO::[_cplogging:213] [08/Feb/2025:13:50:57] ENGINE Client ('172.18.0.1', 36926) lost — peer dropped the TLS connection suddenly, during handshake: (1, '[SSL: UNSUPPORTED_PROTOCOL] unsupported protocol (_ssl.c:1000)') Is there anything I can do st get the GUI back. It works fine when I'm at home - this seems to be a problem working through Tailscale.

Unable to boot into Unraid
The inability to start the dockers was becsue they had lost their port mappings. So I edited the templates and reset them to the original port mapping and all is fine. That was a morning - I thought I'd totally screwed things up, but with your help, I got it all back up. I think I'll just not bother with VMs any more. Thanks Fogey

Unable to boot into Unraid
Thanks, I use a MAcbook which doesn't ave a USB A port, so I have to use an adapter. I obviously need a new adapter as I had to fiddle with it to get it to recognise the flash drive. But it did eventually and I found te Config directory. The file was /config/vfio-pci.cfg.bak - there was no config file, just a backup. I deleted that anyway, and it seems to work. The only problem left is that only some of my dockers will start - the Plex, Deluge and the Árr dockers won't start. Is there a fix to this, or should I reinstall them? Thanks Fogey - ps I may hold the record for being your oldest user - I'm 78 - I used the first IBM PC in the office in 1983!

Unable to boot into Unraid
Sorry, by inexperience is showing. While the screen attached to the server shows "NET: Registered FF-UNIX/FF_LOCAL protocol family"and not the Usual "Login:"screen, I see that Unraid is running - not everything has started but its definitely running and Fix Common Problems doesn't find any errors. I guess I can use the Terminal in Unraid to delete that file.

Unable to boot into Unraid
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not very experienced at this, so how would I delete that file? If the flash drive is in the server, the sever tries to start Unraid and there's no option to delete any files - I don't think. If I take the flash drive out, my Mac can't read it. Any basic advice would be greatly appreciated. Fogey

Unable to boot into Unraid
I set up a new Unix VM this morning which worked well, but I didn't get a sound passthrough. I followed the instructions on the forum (Head over to Unraid's Tools > System Devices > find the IOMMU group assigned to your Intel Audio Controller > toggle on the entire group > Bind Selected VFIO at Boot) and then rebooted. But Unraid now won't reboot - it gets stuck at the line - "NET: Registered FF-UNIX/FF_LOCAL protocol family". It then stops. I've tried rebboting in Safe Mode but nothing gets me past this line. Can anybody offer any help? Thanks Fogey

[Support] binhex - Prowlarr
Hi Binhex - first, thanks for some really great dockers. I'm having trouble setting up Readarr. I'm using Prowlarr as an App/Indexer and Deluge for downloads - both give green check marks. However, when I add a new author, I get "Search for 'War and Peace' failed. Unable to communicate with ReadarrAPI, returning status code: InternalServerError." Could you suggest what I can do - its probably my fault, but I'm stuck at present. Cheers Fogey

"Orphan" Domain Folders
OK, we've moved on a bit. I realised, once I told you it was formatted ZFS, that it was ZFS which was protecting it. So I went to the ZFS Master tab and was able to delete the two "child" directories in the Domains folder. However, I still can't delete the Domains folder as ZFS won't allow that.

"Orphan" Domain Folders
It's formatted as ZFS, and I couldn't find details of checking a ZFS system in Docs.
