  1. itimpi, thank you! So I did place files on my share called windowsdisk with cache enabled and set to cache_large. MOVED files from windowsdisk to /data/media/movies and /data/media/tv. Share /data cache is set to cache_dwnload. Deleted files from cache_large which deleted them from /data/media/movies and /tv just as you described. Yes I did move the files instead of copying them. Sorry for the mixup, but how can I delete the empty folders left behind on cache_large?
  2. This morning I noticed this error in Fix Common problems. I had recently changed my share named "windowsdisk" from no cache to use cache_large and copied files to windowsdisk. Subsequently copied these files to my "/data/media/movies and /data/media/tv share which uses cache_dwnld. I thought "well I'll just delete the files from cache_large and clean this right up!" Doh!, imagine my surprise when my files also disappeared from share "/data/media/movies and /data/media/tv". I think I understand what happened and why it happened. The damage is done. Thankfully I didn't delete the whole folder structure from cache_large. How can I delete the now empty folder structure from cache_large without also deleting them from my "data" share? I'm afraid to move them because they're empty and I don't want to overwrite my /data/media/movies and /data/media/tv folders. Stupid rookie mistake I know.
  3. I have 2 3 tb parity drives. One is starting to have a lot of errors that were discovered during a parity check yesterday. Can I start the array back while preclearing the replacement drive? I would have to connect the replacement in the same slot as I have no free sas connections in which to perform the preclear. Is this the correct order? Stop array turn off server uninstall bad drive install replacement start server start preclear with unassigned devices plugin start and use array until preclear finished stop array select replacement as new 2nd parity drive start parity check start array when finished enjoy? Thanks in advance.
  4. I recently (2 days ago) moved my unraid 6.9.2 server to another subnet on my network; from 192.168.1.143 to 192.168.2.143. I likewise changed the ip of the delugevpn container from 192.168.1.144 to 192.168.2.144. Since the move, I have been unable to access the webgui of the delugevpn container unless I am accessing it from the same subnet. However, the move didn't affect access to the unraid webgui at 192.168.2.143 or the plex container at 192.168.2.145. Using ifconfig on the delugevpn console showed the correct netmask and gateway. I'm not sure what to do at this point except for reinstalling it. Any help would be appreciated. ***EDIT*** I think my issue may be related to the in-built iptables rules within the delugevpn container? tower-diagnostics-20220324-1549.zip
  5. Ok then. Thanks. So I removed the duckdns container and image, deleted it from previous apps. Then I installed it again and it seems to be working this time. Just so I understand, now that i have cache drives and my default shares are pointed to them with the setting of "Prefer-cache". I should not have to edit docker containers appdata path on any new containers I install -- is this correct? Thanks again for all the help. I did not understand the relationship between /mnt/user and /mnt/cache
  6. Thank you! I couldn't understand why /mnt/user/sharename and /mnt/my_cache_name contained the same data. Is there a symlink for this somewhere?
  7. Thanks for your reply. In following spaceinvaderone's video, I deleted the share folders ( appdata, domains, isos, and system ) from /mnt/disk1 after pointing them to the new cache drives. Was this a mistake? Should I have deleted them from /mnt/user as well? Since this is a new install of Unraid, should I just format all drives and start over? ( Already done this once ) Thanks again. tower-diagnostics-20220221-0839.zip
  8. After following spaceinvaderone's video on multiple cache drives/pools I added cache drives to my unraid setup. Then I pointed the default shares, appdata, domains, isos, and system to their respective cache. I then installed the duckdns container. It installed correctly ( I think ). But the logs show an error "curl: (3) URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL" and this occurs every 5 minutes. Since the default shares point to cache drives now, am I supposed to manually edit containers when I install them? Thanks. Don Unraid 6.9.2
