1 SATA and 2M2.SATA missing and no network access?
I will post up more findings tomorrow when I have time, but quick question. What possible reason would cause an onboard NIC to stop working only when an LSI HBA is plugged in, and for 2 of my onboard SATA ports to stop working? As soon as I take out the HBA suddenly the network works again and the 2 drives on the sata ports show back up!

1 SATA and 2M2.SATA missing and no network access?
Ok, so a strange update to this topic. I needed to see if the problem was hardware (mainboard, NIC, HBA, etc) or software (unRAID config) so I did a new trial install of unRAID on a different USB key. Everything is magically showing up now! Both the M.2 in the PCIe brackets, the NIC is working normally now and has a network connection. So I think somewhere along the lines I truly FUBARed my config! Is there a way to do a clean install of unRAID but then get back all of my docker settings, network configs, and system customizations? Or at least compare the two installs to see what changes might have been made that are screwing it all up? Thank you in advance!

1 SATA and 2M2.SATA missing and no network access?
Negative. Still no network access, the M.2 SSD drives did not come back and neither did the 16TB drive. Of course all the drives hooked to the LSI did disappear, but to be expected. Lol

1 SATA and 2M2.SATA missing and no network access?
Thank you so much for your help! I switched the parity drive to the only free SATA port left. It did an additional weird thing now. When I boot it runs several times could not find eth0. Literally all I did was change that one SATA cable! Also an additional strange thing by doing that, the useable memory went from 32GB back down to 16GB! I don't know what I had done to get it to go back up to 32GB useable, but seemingly switching that cable made the difference again. I did also try a separate NIC to see if I could get network access. No dice. I've included diagnostics again. The thing I'm so confused about is that this EXACT configuration worked earlier today. I'm not sure why suddenly it isn't finding drivers for the NVME drives, or not initializing the SATA ports. And also not finding either of the NICs!!! Earlier today I had the onboard and a separate NIC bonded in active-backup mode and everything worked great! galaxy-diagnostics-20221217-0257.zip

1 SATA and 2M2.SATA missing and no network access?
Ok, not exactly sure where to start. I shutdown my server today to install a UPS on it. When I booted it back up it was like something got screwy. For the array I have an LSI with 8 drives, plus 4 more hooked directly to SATA on the motherboard. For Cache I have 1 SATA SSD, and 2 M.2 SATA SSD that are in PCI x1 risers plugged into the motherboard. This had all been working great! I noticed the my RAM was showing as 32GB installed but only 16GB Useable (in unRAID). I started to doing some digging to see why that might be. I had read some stuff about the SMBus being weird with some LSI cards and that taping the 5th and 6th pins fixed memory not being useable so I tried this. It did not work. Now the 2 M.2 drives (cache) and 1 of the array drives (a 16TB that should be parity1) that is hooked directly to the motherboard are no longer showing in unRAID. They still show in the BIOS though! Also, the onboard network interface is no longer working for me to remote into it. I am hooked directly to it with KVM in order to diagnose. I have tried basically reverting everything to exactly the config before, but those drives and the network interface will not come back! I'm at a complete loss as to what has gone wrong and where to begin troubleshooting. I've included a Diagnostics File. Help me Obi-UnRAID, your my only hope! galaxy-diagnostics-20221217-0215.zip

Need help installing a github repo without a Docker Hub
Hello everyone! I am trying to install this repo https://github.com/mlow/steam-library-updater as a Docker container on my Unraid install. I have tried using the CA tab and searching Docker Hub but they don't have the image available there. I am at a loss as to how to get this downloaded and installed. Step by step instructions would be great! Thank you so much in advance! Rhuarc

How to combine reverse proxy and container network vpn
Would there be any updates to this? I tried using both binhex-delugevpn and the local ip address in the sonarr.subdomain.conf file but neither one of them lets me through. I still have the network type in the sonarr docker image set as None so that it goes through the binhex-delugevpn. Suggestions are welcome!

[Plugin] Mover Tuning
Quick question, do you know if the move if cache hits percentage thresholds calculates that percent full correctly if I have a 3 disk cache in raid 1? I know it does the thing where if the cache is empty it incorrectly shows free space. Then as it fills up it gradually gets closer to accurately reporting the free space. Basically when the cache is actually full then it shows the correct 0 space available out of the full available amount. Does that make sense? I can grab screen shots and try to explain further if that doesn't make sense. Thank you!

Hi Everyone! Yet Another Newbie Introduction
Hey everyone, I wanted to introduce myself as yet another soon to be convert! I have been a long time Drivepool on Windows user doing the typical Plex / Sonarr / NAS setup. It has worked for me for quite awhile, but I have wanted to look to move to a more robust server setup for quite awhile now. My current setup is: Case - Antec Gaming Series 300 Motherboard - Gigabyte Z97-HD3 Processor - Intel Core i5-4690K RAM - GSkill 2x8GB / Crucial 2x4GB - Total 24GB Graphics - Radeon HD5750 Network - RTL8125 2.5Gb NIC SSD Boot - Kingston 256GB NVME Cache - ADATA 500GB Storage - WD 7x8TB \ Hitachi 2x3TB This setup has worked, but some limitations I have found are that transcoding on this setup for Plex is woefully inadequate, I do not like using SnapRAID, Windows is a hog!!!!! I want to be able to start getting into virtualizing when needed, and using Docker containers for things liek Sonarr, Deluge, Plex, even Backblaze for backup. I currently also have a gaming PC (old one) but I am moving to my primary pc being my laptop that I hook up to a dock when I am home (I am a pilot and travel a lot so being portable is of number one importance). I am going to take my previous gaming parts and repurpose them to a new unRAID install. My planned setup will be: Case - Rosewill L4500U (the one with hot swap bays) Motherboard - ASrock AB350 Gaming K4 Processor - Ryzen 5 1600x (will probably upgrade this at some point soon. I can go all the way up to a Ryzen 9 with this motherboard) RAM - Team Elite 2x8GB (for now, plan on upgrading with at least another 16GB kit) Graphics - eVGA 1060Ti (basically using for transcoding in Plex) Network - RTL8125 2.5Gb NIC (my current network gear is all 1Gb, but I want to upgrade my Ubiquiti gear at some point to 2.5Gb) USB Boot Disk - (just using a basic 8GB USB key that seems to be working fine in my testing) SSD/NVME Cache Pool - Kingston 256GB / Samsung 850 EVO 500GB / ADATA 500GB / Another 1TB NVME (I don't know the brand right now) This is one area I have some questions about. Basically should I set this Cache Pool as my target directories for downloading via Deluge etc? The idea being that I download to this Pool then ingest into the folder structure I have setup for Plex media? I'm sure I'll be asking lots more questions about this as I get further along! Storage - WD 7x8TB \ Hitachi 2x3TB Using the 1060Ti should let me do much faster transcoding without slowing down the rest of the system. I really like that unRAID gives me the protection of RAID, but still lets my drives be readable to a bare metal unRAID system in case I had to swap it to for recovery. I also really like that every drive does not need to be the same size. Anyway, I hope that wasn't too much! I look forward to learning and being involved in the community going forward as I start this journey! Prost, Rhuarc
