[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
Hey doron, it might be that the plug-in won't get updated as it's been about 2 years since. I might do a script to automate the process. I've already used the User Scripts plug-in to do the cp/chmod part. Is there a way to toggle the fans disabled/enabled in cli or will this need to be done manually via gui? Cheers

Thanks, I'll figure something out. Thanks for the support.

[Support] ich777 - Jellyfin AMD/Intel/Nvidia [DEPRECATED]
Thanks, I just did that, and it's working great. I just worry in the future users won't be aware of it because Jellyfin's documentation is quite vague. Anyway, for me it's working smoothly. It would seem not, as I've been trying for the past week (unless I've missed something or configured it wrong). I've gone into extra paramters and entered --device=/dev/dri which to my understanding is the syntax for iGPU. What I liked about your JF container was how clear the instructions were written up; if it's possible to activate in official or mauimauer's I'd appreciate the help.

[Support] ich777 - Jellyfin AMD/Intel/Nvidia [DEPRECATED]
Hey @ich777 thanks for a great container it's been working great. I was wondering if you could work the same magic with Plex, using mauimauer's spiritsail fork (he previously made a fork of the lsio container). Being a docker beginner I can't seem to get it working from Dockerhub, it's frustrating because you got JF working perfectly, and I know Plex & amdgpu works on my hardware (2400G) as I got it working on baremetal debian. Cheers.

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
How/where might I create a bit of a script to do this at boot in the meantime?

Cache vs unassigned drive
Hi Hoopster, I know I'm late to the party, but I'm curious to know more about this. What are the specific advantages to having a spare HDD connected as a cache pool vs UD?

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
This has probably been asked before, but upon searching it seems that the situation keeps changing. Using my Ryzen 2400G, I'm trying to get hw transcoding working with the container, and in theory it should really work. ich777's Jellyfin container utilises the iGPU, and mauimauer has a working container on dockerhub. Is there any way for this function to be merged into lsio?

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
Looking good so far. I've been transferring around 10TB over the 3 SAS drives, they are interacting with the fan-speed plugin, and they are not being woken up when spun down.

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
Yeah I left it overnight with the plugin enabled, just ignoring the SAS drives in question. I've woken up to them still in standby mode. I'd be open to testing a modified version of either plugin(s)

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
That's great, thank you. I'll follow this thread; please keep us updated and see if collaboration can be made, as both plugins have very useful functions.

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
I don't think it was this, considering that the drives have just been cleared, formatted and are sitting empty. But as a test, I disabled all my containers & VMs, spun down all the drives and left it to idle. After a few minutes, my SAS drives spun up again, even before the Parity or Appdata drives had done so. Having said that, all disks in the array have now become active as I write this. I've attached my diagnostics file below as requested. EDIT: after playing around and deleting more plugins, I think it was the Dyanamix Autofan that was waking up the drives. Just did a search and looks like it has been encountered before, including a possible workaround. I'll keep playing around to see what works best for me. Cheers for your input though guys tower-diagnostics-20220618-1835.zip

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
Hello, thank you for a very useful plugin. I've just installed 3 HGST SAS drives into what will be an 8 drive array, currently attached via a Dell HBA card. Currently they will spindown when hitting the button in the GUI, only for them to spin back up again a few minutes later. This is despite the GUI showing that there is no data being written or read. All models are HUS724040ALS640 4TB drives. Cheers if this can be sorted out for a quiter system.
