Can't copy files from macos to unraid share
Hello, I'm currently trying to copy files from macos to my unraid share, however always the download aborts after some time if not right away, attached I've the diagnostic file. Tried many fixes, applied some smb extra fields which many wrote worked for them, but no luck so far. Currently I don't know what else to do. unraid-diagnostics-20260222-0934.zip

Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
so replaced three slower drives, now transferring files to the array. Still really slow, don't know what the issue could be. New diags during file transer. unraid-diagnostics-20250714-1230.zip

New disk after rebuild and restart rebuild again?
will post an update, after the rebuild is complete and I've rebooted again, if it should happen again.

New disk after rebuild and restart rebuild again?
Replaced a disk in my array, rebuild was done, rebooted the server and had to select the new disk again and it started a new rebuild. I've attached the diag, don't know why it want to rebuild again after it had already finished. unraid-diagnostics-20250711-0213.zip

Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
Yep that's the one I've already replaced because it was in general the slowest drive, currently rebuilding after that I do another speed test. So in general as unraid when data is copied to the array picks one disk, since all the old drive I still use were already full it only copied to the new drives I added, so the array in general was already slow but because it copied to the new freshly added drive I never noticed it? Also drives I will replace next are the WD60EDAZ and the WD40EZRX as they are also really old ones.

Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
on the last one yes, as Killrah requested that I post the diags while the parity check is running. Will post new transfer speeds, I've replaced the slowest drive sdc, as something must be up with that drive if the average speed is that low during the disk speed test. on the last one yes, as Killrah requested that I post the diags while the parity check is running. Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
So performed a disk speed test, the slower ones are all WD Red, however even at the slowest rate which would be 80 MB/s it's still faster then the transfer of the maximum of 5 MB/s I'm currently getting, don't know if it's still an issue, however never had these slow transfer speeds before. However what looks at least weird to me, from the second screenshot that If I transfer data to unraid, it writes to the slowest drive only disk 9 (sdc) but still slower as the max benmarked speed.

Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
Here would be a new diags after running parity check for some time. How would I check each disk, with krusader and copy files between them or would there be a tool/app in unraid to check each disks speed? Also what was really weird, is that, yesterday after a reboot, which took a really long time, the machine renamed itself, usually I just have it called unraid, but after the reboot it renamed itself back to Tower, could that be related or would that be a different issue. unraid-diagnostics-20250705-1322.zip

Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
if you referr to "reconstruct write" then that's always active, as I've wrote, before the transfer speeds where normal now they are non existent. Also started a parity check right now (without anything transfering), it would take a few hundret days to complete it as the speed here is around 800 Kb/s, before a parity check would perform with around 218 MB/s

Transfer speed nearly comes to a halt
Hello, I use my unraid server as a backup for large files, however since a few days the transfer speeds are non existent. Usually, depening on the machine I'm moving the files over are betwwen 100 Mb/s to 130 Mb/s which is the expected speed usually. However yesterday I've started a new large transfer, for a few minutes it reached between 80 - 100 Mb/s however running it longer, it wen't down to a max of 5 Mb/s. What I've also observer, however I hadn't paid any attention to it before. Is that only the parity drive and one disk receives writes, all other drives only reads, no writes on them. I've attached the diagnostics ZIPs as I don't know what the problem could be. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. unraid-diagnostics-20250705-1237.zip

Mac can't connect to NFS share
Hi everyone, currently I tried everything I can think of. I simply want to connect to my NFS share on Unraid from my mac, all I get is permission denied. NFS Share is set to public, still the same. Don't know why this has to be so tedious to connect to. If SMB through Mac wasn't so slow I would stick with it, NFS is my hope, that the transfers here aren't that slow. Any suggestions what I should try/do to be able to connect to the NFS share?

Propblem with cache moving files to the array
On my share in question I've cache set to yes, the cache is nearly full (with 1,56 TB on it) unraid says mover is running (schedule is set to hourly) however, since 8 hours, I see no files moved. A problem which comes with this as it seems, I can't copy any new files to the unraid server as the transfer rate is below 5 MB/s (usually 100-130 MB/s). I don't know if this has to do with the cache being full and the cache writing to the array, but I see no progress whatsoever. So I've krusader and the disks and cache mounted, what would be the correct procedure to move files from the cache to the array? EDIT: a little something form me to understand, does the mover cut and paste or does it copy the files to the array, if so, for example it copys the files, with that I would see no change on the cache (in regards to the used and free space) till it's done copying the files and clearing the cache? EDIT2: Just checked the read/write speeds, it's reading between 1 MB/s and 4,6 MB/s and is writing to one disk of the array between 1 MB/s and 5 MB/s why is this so slow?

Can't get GPU passthrough working
can't seem to get it work, the graphics card isn't even listed in the xml file, so nothing to add there, also having a hard time finding a bios and don't know to edit it.

GPU Passthrough is EASY - Here's how
did the steps however didn't work without a vbios selected I get following error internal error: Unknown PCI header type '127' for device '0000:0c:00.0' So it doesn't even boot

unraid Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted
I've already restarted the server after that, which of course solved the problem. However does a full diagnostics bring any results or only when the error appears again?

unraid Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted
Today when I signed in in the dashboard I didn't see any disk and in general the dashboard didn't work I got the following error "unraid Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted" I've attached the log. What happened here and how do I fix it and prevent this from happening again. unraid-syslog-20230305-1349.zip

DEVICE IS DISABLED, CONTENTS EMULATED after adding new disks
I will add them to the array after formating. Regarding the rebuild. Since it's my first time, with that I didn't lose any files right? Couldn't check right now, the rebuild is complete what wonders me is that the space is evenly allocated from both disks in the array.

DEVICE IS DISABLED, CONTENTS EMULATED after adding new disks
Hi everyone, so last week I've build my first unraid server in a Silverstone RM43-320-RS, with a LSI SAS9305-24i. Currently I've a 20TB drive as a parity drive and two new 18 TB drive, which I've already filled with data from my old Synology NAS. So far everything work pretty well and I'm already amazed with unraid. Today everything from my NAS was finished copying over. So I've shut it down and put the disks in my unraid server. The first thing I've noted that from the 4 disks only the 2x 4 TB disks where recognized and not the other two 10 TB drives. So I thought I reboot the server. The thing is I wanted to stop the array first, however I couldn't nothing happend. So then I restarted the unraid server from the dashboard as I've read that the array will be stopped nontheless. After the unraid server was back up I saw that the second 18 TB disk said "DEVICE IS DISABLED, CONTENTS EMULATED". So I've checked in the forums that this means the disk has to be rebuild, which I've already started. My question now is, why did this happen? Is there a log I could check. Normally this should not happen after a restart of the server after adding some disk (just adding them to the server, not assigned yet) greetings exxis
