How to use a script to change schedule from monthly to quarterly. Whenever I add files like movies or music parity runs so I feel quarterly is preferredfor me.

Followed those steps from your link tried both methods listed in link. It prompts for new root pw and accepts new pw. Then I type it in and get the result where no error message and just a blank login screen like I showed above. Still not working

Backed up my flash files and just recently cannot login to root tried my backed files 6.9.2 and 6.11.5 then reformated flash and copy prokey and deleted the 3 files. Reboot server and it prompts for new pw it accepts and then try to login and put in new root pw and no response and no error message just blank Use roboform to save my pw's. Can someone suggest what I should do? worked on this for 1 solid hour and got no where need some help

About a month ago had 2 lightning stikes and as soon as I powered up my server no ethernet. So this week bougth this card it supports linux and windows. Just plugged it in and worked so found a review on web. Its like a swiss army knife that has all the features someone needs to create a home server that can exceeds your needs. Learning how to do that is where the fun starts and knowleges begins I have 64 gigs of ram on my server a very small percentage of ram used for caching files or moving non critical files in memory or some kind of ramdisk. Asus has a special ramdisk that is allocated to ssd's and folders to speed up file transfers and to keep files resident in memory. It would be cool if the ramdisk could be resident on reboots (create a file on disk).

Testing unRAID for 16 days, but on day 12 I added two SSD USB 3.0 parity drives and everything was running fine. On day 14 I added trim and mover to run on Sunday at different times. After the party check ran one of the SSD drives disappeared and now on day 15 the second SSD disappeared. Day 16 plugged the WD to my W10 machine and it mounted, it is now connected to the unRAID machine. The EVO Samsung drive does not mount in windows or unRaid I will wait for a day to see if it works, this is what happened to the WD. Now on day 18 the Samsung Evo 500 GB does not work.The only thing that I saw was the temperature hit a maximum of 40 c which is well within range. Have disabled trim and will not use this function. Can someone help me troubleshoot why this has happened this is very concerning to me? I'm a windows GUI person so any instructions but as much detail as possible.SSD drives parity drives are Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB temperature specs 0 - 70 ℃ ( 1yr old ) and new WD Blue 250GB. Want to continue using UNraid it has a lot all in one feature which will allow me to do everything I want in the future.
