i think you are correct thanks. I just assumed it worked for movies and tv would be media also so figured it would work. thanks! I do not have any other dockers. not sure i need any others that i know of? but you are correct i really do need to understand the volume mapping. thanks again!

hopefully this tells you something but I wonder if the logs would clear out after having to re-setup the docker?

alright alright i failed. Im able to get my movies added to the library but when i try the same steps for television it crashes the entire docker. i go to add another path and i name it television then i put /media for container just like i did for my movies. then the host path i navigate to my TV folder and apply and thats when the command failes and goes crazy

I wasnt sure the FAQ for dockers in general would help me trying to figure out a specific docker ie plex but it actually got me on the right path and i think ill be able to solve my issue i think/hope...thanks!

im new to dockers and im just not that smart. Is there a way to search this thread? i have no idea what key 1 and key 2 and key 3 are and im not sure how to get plex to scan my library of one of my shares...the answer probably lies within these pages but ive been reading for a while and searching all over the internet with different wording and cant find my answers. thanks

I know this is an older topic. I have sas9220-8i and I for the life of me dont know what firmware i flashed it with. How can I find out and i want to see if there is an updated firmware. Thanks

I'd suggest going for a M1015 flashed with LSI firmware in IT mode personally - they are faster than the MV8's.. only real issue I note is that you're running b13.. you'd have to go back to 12a as these controllers are borked in 13/14. If you don't want to do that, the MV8 should be fine and will give you some performance increase (but not as much as the M1015's.) Guys like this fella on ebay sell them with breakout cables, pci brackets and preflashed to the latest firmware of your choice - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/200739872127?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_855wt_1396 it appears this guy isnt selling these cards anymore...anyone else doing this with the option to flash prior? Electronically, and logically, that card is identical to the Supermicro AOC-USAS2 card which I am using. In fact, I use the 9211 image to flash my card. There is no reason why the LSI9211 should not work. thank you much...cant afford it right now but a man can dream right?
