  1. Hello all. I tried searching through for "Not authorized" but couldn't find anything. I am trying to migrate my Windows Plex server to the binhex-plexpass on my Unraid server. I want to have as little impact as possible to my remote users. I have copied the entire "Plex Media Server" folder from my Windows machine that includes the "Cache" and all other folders over to the "Plex Media Server" within the /config folder on the Unraid container. I added the PLEX_CLAIM variable but I still get "Not authorized" and I don't see the server show up in my "Authorized Devices" on my Plex account. Has anyone successfully done something like this?
  2. I have been struggling with a corrupted DB for a while now. The normal PRAGMA checks were always showing OK for the main and blobs DB and even after doing the reindexing, I would still get a notification randomly telling me the DB was corrupt. The noticeable issue was that my Home page would no longer show my Movie Recommendations (Recently Released, Recently Added, etc.). I have plans to move Plex to my Unraid server but currently it's running on a Windows machine. I was able to fix my issue using https://github.com/ChuckPa/PlexDBRepair. They have a Windows Powershell script that I could run and now I can see my Movie Recommendations again! :) I hope this can help someone else in the future.
  3. This sounds similar to an issue I was having where I could not connect to Unraid and had to hard reset the server to gain access. I posted what ended up fixing it for me here, Check your Docker network settings and your BIOS settings.
  4. I have been having this issue for quite a few weeks now where whenever I had Docker containers running and/or copied files to the array. I looked all over here and Google for answers. I changed Docker network settings from macvlan to ipvlan, that didn't change anything. I found some things about the BIOS settings for the CPU but mine (American Megatrends BIOS) did not have anything about C states so I started reading through each section to find anything that sound similar to power management. I ended up disabling EIST in my settings and so far that seems to have fixed it. I normally would see the server go offline within a couple hours, if not sooner, when I had Docker running (binhex-jackett, binhex-delugevpn, binhex-radarr, and binhex-sonarr). I have had it up and running all day with all Dockers running and manually copying files from an external HDD to the array and the issue hasn't occurred at all. I will continue to monitor this but I wanted to share just in case it helps someone out in the future since it was such a pain for me for a while.

  6. So far it looks like you were right (as usual) This Unraid setup was started with extra PC components I had so it doesn't seem like the PSU I have in there is able to handle all the drives, fans, etc. I have a new PSU coming in today to completely confirm that was the issue but just by me shuffling around and removing some of the fans (I was using one of the Molex to SATA PWR adapters...) I have it rebuilding now and it has passed the point it always failed at before so I am hopeful that was my issue all along
  7. Sorry about that. Here you go. Also, not sure if this is useful info but if I pause the Rebuild and keep all my docker containers and VMs off, the array stays up fine and I am able to view the media that is stored on it through Plex. plexnas-diagnostics-20231127-1038.zip
  8. Hey everyone. I've tried what I could for the past week from searching through the forums and now I am reaching out for specific help. I've learned a lot in the past week of what I have been doing wrong with my Unraid setup and since then I've been trying to resolve the issues I made in the beginning. My current task is swapping out all SSDs that are in my array with HDDs. I stupidly thought SSDs would be better not seeing that they were not supported within the actual array.... So, I have been swapping out drives the past week-ish and I am currently rebuilding Disk7 but during the rebuild I am getting a ridiculous amount of read errors from Disk8 even though it shows as healthy and passes all SMART tests. I was able to copy all data from Disk8 to other drives in the array so I am ok with removing Disk8 from the array. After I copied all the data from Disk8 I tried the rebuild on Disk7 again and still got the read errors for Disk8. I then tried moving all the data from Disk7 to Disk10 which has enough space available but almost instantly got the read errors again on Disk8. I would've thought that wouldn't happen since I was only moving from DIsk7 to Disk10 but I guess there are other things going on I am not aware of. My question here is, can I remove Disk8 from the array while Disk7 is in the rebuild/emulated mode? I believe if I can remove Disk8 then the rebuild will finish OR I can at least move all the data off Disk7. FYI, there are a few more SSDs I need to swap out and have drives arriving this week to do so. Thank you in advance for any and all help you can give me. EDIT: Removed wrong attachment
  9. I am running Unraid 6.12.3 with a Windows 10 VM. I have qBittorrent running on the VM for downloads. It's been running fine for a while and just recently I started getting errors on my downloads stating it couldn't write because the disk was out of space. I had 1.76TB free on the array. The issue ended up being the allocation method for the shares. I Had it using "Fill-up" which up until recently was working fine by filling up one drive and moving to the next but this week it stopped doing that properly. I changed the allocation method to "Most-free" and I am able to download now but wanted to report it as a bug in case there needs to be a fix. plexnas-diagnostics-20230817-1948.zip
  10. Thank you so much. I should've thought of that because I did change the port. It's booting up like normal now. Thank you again!

  12. Hello. I've looked around and only found articles talking about errors during the checksum but I Have a different issue. I was running unraid on a spare 32GB drive I had with a trial version. Fell in love with the OS and decided to get a smaller profile USB drive to use for the registered version. I bought an unraid OS Plus key and started the process to switch out the boot drives. I had to do the manual method since the creator tool would not work with my Sandisk 32GB Ultra Fit USB. The backup/restore went smoothly but the only issue is the amount of time it takes for the new drive to boot. At first I thought it was just going to take that long on the first time booting but it's doing it every time. It hangs the longest on "Verifying bzfirmware checksum". It does eventually get past it and boots up fine but with the trial version on the original drive it took maybe 1 minute to restart. Now it takes at least 5-10 minutes. Any thoughts?
