  1. Hi, FCP gives me the following warning: "Share appdata set to cache-only, but files / folders exist on the array". I changed the settings so appdata is only using the cache pool. How can I find out which files and folders are causing this? AlsoI can't find the settings mentioned here: Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks tower-diagnostics-20240225-1601.zip
  2. As @jcofer555 explained, my goal was to not have the drive "stuck" in Parity2. So really thankful he was handholding me through the process. Didn't even know about the other restrictions, that would have sucked to find out a month later that I can't change the order of the data disks without rebuilding. So he provided a much better solution
  3. Thank you @itimpi. @jcofer555 guided me throught the process on Discord. I know have my Parity2 as Parity ❤️ It involved bringing down the array a couple of times and re-formatting the Disk2 drive from xfs to btrfs and back to xfs. The core is this first step though: jcofer555 "Take a screenshot of the layout your have currently do a tools > new config and then go to the main page and reassign the disks how you want them and then let parity rebuild"
  4. Hi, I have made a boo boo I added a new bigger parity drive as parity drive 2 into my array. I now want the old parity drive 1 to become data disk 2. I am not sure how to proceed. I know, I should have looked at the swapping parity article before. I did not and I feel shame for this. Any pointers much appreciated. So Parity becomes disk 2 and Parity 2 becomes Parity. Thank you
  5. Hi, I am having problems exporting my paperless-ngx date from my old server to Unraid. I have both running now, both the latest version 2.5.0 and I created the same users on both. I then ran an export on the old one: document_exporter ../export Next I moved ALL files (including the .jsons) to the export folder of the new installation Then I ran the import on the new one: document_importer ../export I get these errors: root@39a32b43a9fe:/usr/src/paperless/src# document_importer ../export Found existing user(s), this might indicate a non-empty installation Checking the manifest Database import failed No version information present Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/lib/python3.11/site-packages/django/db/backends/utils.py", line 89, in _execute return self.cursor.execute(sql, params) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ File "/usr/local/lib/python3.11/site-packages/django/db/backends/sqlite3/base.py", line 328, in execute return super().execute(query, params) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ sqlite3.IntegrityError: UNIQUE constraint failed: auth_user.username My version.json only has this content: { "version": "2.5.0" } And my manifest.json is full with the tags and user info from my old installation: { "model": "auth.user", "pk": 4, "fields": { "password": "REMOVED", <<< removed real password "last_login": "2024-02-10T18:49:33.728Z", "is_superuser": true, "username": "user", <<< removed real username "first_name": "", "last_name": "", "email": "[email protected]", <<< removed real emailaddress "is_staff": true, "is_active": true, "date_joined": "2024-01-22T11:02:24Z", "groups": [], "user_permissions": [] } }, Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong? Edit: Found the issue and resolved it. Paperless doesn't like it when you import existing users of another instance to the new one, if you have created users there before. So for anyone wondering, after installing your new image and starting it, do not log in, instead do the document_importer ... routine first, Much appreciated!
  6. Thanks a lot, @trurl. Does it matter which M2 slot I use?
  7. Hi community, I am very excited about my 1st Unraid server build. I have a motherboard with 3 NVME slots and 2 Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMEs. I also have 2 old 2TB SATA HDDs. How should I best set up my arrays so I can expand storage later. I will retire my Synology NAS and after formating the drives I will add two 10TB HDDs to Unraid later. So for now it is 2 NVME + 2 SATA. At the moment this is more for testing purposes and I am mainly wondering about how to utilize the 2 NVME drives so I don't have to start over when adding more storage. Thank you for your input
  8. I have read somewhere that the "Intenso Rainbow Line" USB sticks have a GUID, well they don't. Writing this here for any poor souls who google for Unraid compatible USB sticks as these are popular and there is a lot of misinformation.
