[Support] ich777 - Gameserver Dockers
Yeah, I might have to abandon this one. One of my friends plays on xbox and can't use tailscale. Honestly, I think I'm too green for something like this anyhow. I was hoping I could throw it up and connect pretty easily but it sounds like I have a lot to learn. Thanks for all your help regardless!

I've heard of it but I've never used it. I've only used Tailscale. I'll look into that as an option though!

[Support] ich777 - Gameserver Dockers
Essentially, I want to use Tailscale with Funnel to avoid opening any ports on my router while allowing my friends to connect to the server through Steam without needing Tailscale installed. I’ve installed your container and enabled Tailscale within it, but I don’t think I’ve configured the server correctly to work with Funnel. I’ve followed several tutorials and even tried connecting with Funnel disabled, but nothing seems to work. In the Steam UI, I’ve tried connecting using the Tailscale IP and port (without Funnel), as well as the Tailscale web address and port with Funnel enabled, but neither approach has been successful. I’m running Unraid 7 with the tailscale plugin installed if that means anything.

Valheim container, version 7 & Tailscale I'm trying to set up a docker server of Valheim over tailscale so my friends can join and I don't have to open any ports but I've hit a wall. I've set the container up as its own device on tailscale, gotten the IP, but can't seem to connect over steam. I'm obviously doing something wrong here. The only instructions I could find involved opening ports so any help would be greatly appreciated! Should my container be in bridge mode or Br0? FYI: My tailscale is the plugin version, not docker.

[Support] Plex Media Server - Official
Migrating a Library from Windows to Unraid I’m using the official Plex docker and I’m attempting to bring over my library from windows to unraid. I’ve paid for plex pass so my old server shows up in my account. There’s no media attached as I’m currently transferring everything over to my server. So my question is should I just have it repopulate the metadata on the new server or would it be easier to extract the metadata from my windows install and bring it into the Unraid container. I dont really care about my playlists or watch history.

Hard Links. Am I doing this right?
I was trying to follow a tutorial for Plex. (Trash guide) It recommends “hard links” for media. I think I need to do some more research as to what exactly hard links are.

Hard Links. Am I doing this right?
I’m attempting to set up hard links for use with Plex and I’m currently transferring a library from a previous build using Krusader. As I’m transferring the library from an external drive via USB, am I correct in assuming I first need to write these files to the cache, then move them to the array in order for the hard links to stick? Or is it possible to just transfer them directly to the array. The issue I’m having is my cache is only about 2 tb and the library is around 10tb. This means I need to keep an eye on it to make sure the cache doesn’t overflow. Am I doing this right? sincerely, Guy who loves this stuff but has no idea what he’s doing.

Ok, thanks! To clarify I was able to get in to the GUI at one point when I port forwarded 443 and I can also use the terminal locally. There's no way this is a router issue? My ISP severely limits what it can do. (Can't even put it in Bridge mode) I was wondering if it could be blocking communications. Of course this theory is coming from someone who probably shouldn't be using Unraid given his limited background in I.T.
