  1. Thanks a lot. Yeah I got those and I have restored them. The previous setup is back. I have to try to learn from this :)
  2. I think I've reproduced the error. The unwanted behavior started when I was trying to get Sabnzbd and others to use Gluetunvpn for network. It's been working for more than a year, but the dockers wouldn't run and gave "server error" and "image can't be deleted" and "container in use by other..". I can't say such behaviour is unseen in my setup, but I'm usually able to correct it by running in a backup from the backup plugin. Not this time. When I changed (in a spur of the moment attempt) the network in GluetunVPN from bridge to host. That's when things went downhill. The dockers start working with GluetunVPN, but the apps section is cut off. Stopping GluetunVPN does not help. Removing it and deleting the app folder and rebooting and it's OK again. So there I am back to square one. A well working server setup like before, but the docker network problem remains. It's good to know what caused the annoyance.
  3. Probably. Here's where I am now. Rewrote the flash with 7.2.6 from Limetech. Copied over the license, pools directory and super.dat from the old installation. Booted and clicked apps, installed community apps without a problem. Apps working. Clicked "docker" and saw a long wait until the docker screen displayed the containers from my previous installation. 2 of them running. Clicked back at apps, now no longer working (!). A well known message "this is taking longer than expected" until I grew tired of waiting. Removed all docker containers and manually deleted everything in the appdata directory storing my docker containers. Rebooted and everything seemingly working fine. Installed Firefox to try out docker functionality. Working normal, both the tab and the app. I have a working system, but what have I lost. A lot of settings in Unraid. Docker container setups. GluetunVPN is a b*tch to set up. I have flash backups. Copying everything back on the Flash might restore the Unraid settings. The docker containers. I think I have backups for the individual apps like Sonarr. That probably won't help setting them up, just restoring their state? Any advice for the smoothest sailing?
  4. tower-diagnostics-20260513-1620.zip Trying to install community applications gives a bit more information today. plugin: installing: community.applications.plg Executing hook script: pre_plugin_checks plugin: downloading: community.applications.plg ... plugin: community.applications.plg download failure: Network failure Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks
  5. After having various problems with dockers (arr-stack) I went the usual route for me: Remove dockers, reinstall and run in a backup. At some point in the process the apps tab became unresponsive. I decided to remove community apps from plugins to reinstall. Now when I go to the apps tab it shows a button to reinstall the plugin, but also immediately a message "Attention - operation continues in background [00029181]". Clicking the install button does not seem to have any effect. Being reminded of a somewhat similar problem in the earliest days of my Unraid history involving Limewire support, I decided to format the flash drive and run in a recent backup. The server boots fine and everything works, except the docker tab takes forever to display and the apps tab reproduces the behaviour I outlined above. What can I do to fix this problem? Since running in the backup has reverted to version 7.2.4 I decided updating to 7.2.6 might in itself solve the problem. The update first says "Up to date" on 7.2.4 which we know is incorrect, then after clicking "show more" some checks are running and I'm offered to update to 7.2.6. Once the installer returns to the server to perform the update nothing happens.
  6. Edit: Yours truly had a setting deleted when updating the plugin at some point. The setting "Debug mode" has to be set in the plugin's prefs in order to actually get status updates from the plugin. I have the most recent version of Unraid on three servers and I use the S3 sleep plugin on all three. I've noticed some changes, and I'm not sure when they first happened. The plugin used to output its status to the syslog. When started, and after that about once per minute, what was the status of the drives monitored. So either a "disk activity detected" or a "all drives spun down" and a counter showing how many minutes to sleep execution. Now the initial start message is outputted with the parameters the sleep plugin was executed. And then silence. I have one server with a mix of mechanical drives for the array and ssd's for cache pools. Here sleep actually works - even though the plugin is silent in the log. On my other 2 servers consisting of ssd's exclusively s3 sleep has stopped working completely. Have anybody else noticed this? Is there a way to check the status of this plugin? In the log startup message it always said "type s3_sleep -q to quit" but that command is not recognized in a cli. It does say "Running" on the plugin page, so that's something but it still does not work and the silence is annoying.
  7. Thanks. I had already manually mounted the drive. When I found this setting I switched it on, but it wasn't the problem. The problem was basically that I found it overly complicated to copy a few files to external usb with the inbuilt file manager. I probably also overlooked the /mnt/disks/ mount point when using Midnight Commander as JorgeB pointed out.
  8. It's not an option. It's a message or a state: I won't work until you reboot.
  9. With the array started and after inserting the drive UD had no mount option, but rather a REBOOT option. After the reboot came the "too may disks".
  10. You're right. It does. I couldn't find it last night :( Thanks. I solved the task before your comments by copying the relevant folders and files to a local machine performing the copy process locally. On a side note to $limetech. I have a couple of Beelink Mini Me's running Unraid on starter licenses. They are non-expandable mini PCs with 6 nvme slots so a starter license is perfect. Inserting a usb thumb drive to extract a few files for transport is not possible because "too many disks". I find it very hard to sympathize with this policy.
  11. Thanks. There are no "disks" share. Maybe because I only have user shares. I wasn't expecting reconfiguration to copy files to usb.
  12. Yes. The disk is mounted via said plugin. It's just not available as a destination for a file copy. I navigate to the folder I want to copy to the stick using Unraid file management. I mark it. I click "copy" either at the bottom of the list or at the plus sign next to the folder. I look for the usb disk as a destination for the copy command. It's not there. My regular shares are there.
  13. Hi there I'm defeated. I've spent several hours trying to copy files from a share to an external usb disk. No matter what I try I run into obstacles. The external disk does not appear in the list of destination shares when clicking "copy". Or using "upload" when the disk is selected does not accept folders, only files. How do I make it available to copy something to? Thanks!
  14. This may not be of much assistance to you, but anyway may help running Unraid on the Beelink Mini ME. Unfortunately I've seen more than one other report where people experience problems similar to yours. An underpowered PSU is often suggested as the culprit. It's 45 watts I believe. I'm running Unraid on 2 Beelink Mini ME's both stocked with 6 x Lexar NM790 4TB ssd's. I'm using XFS and no parity. They've been running for a couple of months without issue. I can run a read test from the main tab where all 6 disks are being read concurrently at about 600/3600 MB/s. Also without issue. According to Unraid each ssd draws 6 watts, though dedicated tests online show them to draw considerably less and be very power efficient. Best of luck with finding a solution. Edit: details and language
  15. Is anybody here to support the s3 sleep plugin?
