Corsair SF750 PSU - 12 Hard Drives
Hey appreciate the feedback, Yes these do come with sata on the motherboard side. I purchased these case with the cables so they are included. The SF750 only come with one cable that has 3 Molex headers, and unfortunally its short cable. But my question is can i run this with one cable to 3 Molex outputs? or should i use 2 lines to the PSU? Thank you

Corsair SF750 PSU - 12 Hard Drives
Hey Guys i recently purchased this JMCD 12S4 case with 12 Bays. I plan on running unraid and currently have a corsair SF750W. The NAS backplane uses 3 molex inputs for power, SF750 Rating +5V is rated at 20A 130W +3.3V is rated at 20A 130W +12V is rated at 62.5A 750W +5vsb is rated at 3A 15W PSU also only have 3 Sata/Pate connecters Will i be able to run these 12 drives from this? Do i need to run individual Molex lines for each of the Backplane? or Can i use 1 or 2 lines. Thank you

Thank you for the help. I actually had a single nvme adapter around and used that instead. So now one of them is on the adapter and one on the motherboard m.2 It seems to work fine, Any way to look if its using x4? Thank you

Unraid Cashe
Good morning, Im new to unraid and i just finished building my first machine. I have a question on the cache size and how many disks. My motherboard has 2 NVME slots but I'm currently only using 1 due to 1 being shared with sata 1, Current Setups 2x 14TB Seagate Exos 4x 6TB Iron Wolf Pro 1x 512 GB NVMe SSD My main use of this server is primary PLEX server and Torrent Downloads A few forums i have read say to use primary storage as cache and have it move the download to array after complete. My questing is what king of life can i expect from these nvmes if I'm writing hundreds of gigabytes to it and than having it moved to the array. I have also currently setup MakeMKV so I'm ripping movies directly from the server. I do have 2x2TB WD Black NVME drives laying around, Should i upgrade my cache drive with one of these? If i should upgrade it should i just upgrade the one i have installed? or get a dual PCIe adapter and install both? Thank you for your help

How to replace Disk on Array
I just started with unraid and initially i was planning to install 4x6tb and 2x4TB drives. I initially configured the arrey with 3x6TB drives and 1x4TB drive so 4 drives in total no parity wile i move all the data from my qnap. I started to data transfer and and all the data went to the 6TB drives. Wile i was doing this i decided to just go ahead and buy 2x14TB Exos drives. One for parity and one for data. How to i replace my 4TB drive? i dont have parity drive on the arrey yet, and there is no data on the 4tb ggonxhi-nas-diagnostics-20250306-1716.zip

Unraid recommendation for intel 10 gen i5 10500
Cool so im actually building 2 NAS. First one witch should be done today is being done on a HP Prodesk 600 G1 Im doing 3x14TB Segate Exos drives 1x512Gb SSD for cache So i will set up this and only use the 2x14 drives to set an array Than move all the 10 TB of movies to it, Do i do this by drop and copy from a different computer Or can i somehow mount this on the Qnap or Unraid Than after everything is completed, i can that add the parity drive and the cache That seems about right?

Unraid recommendation for intel 10 gen i5 10500
So i can actually make an array without the parity, move the data and assign the parity drive Cool
