  1. Deleted and recreated my user. seems to have fixed it. Will cross fingers.
  2. Will try adding a user then, just for shares. thanks again for your time.
  3. "One more thing. Don't use your Windows login name as a login name for Unraid" Seriously? and about that home license, it was free. MS wanted everybody to adopt Win10, they allowed SLIC'ed win 7 machines to opbtain a free Win10 license. But I agree, networking tools are very minimal. I said pro, but that was a brain fart. That was probably a home license.
  4. Yes, that's what I did. recreated credentials and remapped drives. but problem is very intermittent. and it happens on all my shares. As for AI, copilot is even worse. it invented unraid preview versions, told me it lied when confronted, and said it made for a nice conversation that looked believable. I can't believe OPCD will use AI for 911 dispatch. guess they haven't watched 9-1-1. Anyhow, thanks. Worse case I reinstall 10 pro. I know it worked without all the slop in 11.
  5. AI thinks (yeah right) it's something with Win11. But i'm probably far from the only one using Win11 home with Unraid. will have to test further under Linux. but I caught something interesting in my system log Aug 9 06:24:09 Soundwave smbd[36948]: chdir_current_service: vfs_ChDir(/mnt/user/Torrents) failed: Permission denied. 6. OK. What I found (With Google's AI help) net use * /delete /y klist purge Press the Windows Key, type Credential Manager (or Gestionnaire d'identification if it's in French), and hit enter.Click on Windows Credentials (Informations d'identification Windows).Scroll down to the Windows Credentials section, find any entry matching your Unraid server's name or IP address, click it, and hit Remove (Supprimer). ipconfig /flushdns nbtstat -R netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset Then full shutdown/reboot. What do you think
  7. And, (recurring problem for at least 2 years, ) every file or folder I move from Windows to Unraid is set with the executable flag. When I reboot, I'll try from Linux. That workstation also has an SSD for Kubuntu LTS. 9. Home 25H2. and Yes I use my credentials for the standard user. Problems happen when moving files from the Torrent share to the Plex share. Qbittorrent runs on the Windows machine and then dumps the file onto the Torrent share. And I have np issues with Linux's CLI.
  10. I rebuild the whole server. So I'm guessing the issue I'm having might be related to Windows 11. From time to time, I have to use the Docker Safe New Perms tool because I can't write to a media share. That's the share were Plex stuff is. I've checked the container, perms are set to 99/100. Did not see anything in Posterr and Gaps. Short of trying in Linux, I suspect it's either a corrupt container or Windows messes with SMB behind my back. Server is an Asus Z9PA-U8/E5-2680V2/64GB ECC. Workstation is Asus X99e-ws/Usb3.1 wtih a 2696V4 and 128GB ECC. Issues are can't create folder or move file, or the file is being used (when creating folder) Reposting in proper section. I've attached diagnostics from Unraid's side soundwave-diagnostics-20260808-1231.zip
  11. I just reinstalled the plugin after upgrading to 7.2.4, and it still panics. Any ideas?
