Cannot access shares - Windows 11
Just wanted to send an update everyone that may read this in the future, but I was having an issues trying to load files on their shares. If you have a newer UNRAID setup and happen to be transferring files/folders using RSYNC from another server this background process will need to have your permissions set under your TOOLS and NEW PERMISSIONS and this will fix the read/write access given this is a linux OS trying to understand windows file structure. You'll just run this and it will fix your permissions.

[PLUGIN] IPMI for 6.11+
Having issues with NOCTUA fans installed on Supermicrol; speeds won't reduce. I assume the noise is from the 2 NF-A6x25's I have yet to pull them as I am transfering TB's of data over from Synology at this current time. I've attached my Diagnostics for review if needed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Noctua NF-A8 PWM x7installed Noctua NF-A6x25 x2 installed over the cpu cooler plugged into the motherboard. I belive these are the fans spinning higher as two of them are at 7,000 rpms and the others are at 2300 rpm Supermicro 36-Bay 4U SuperStorage Server SSG-6047R-E1R36L 64GB RAM 2X E5-2609V2 Intel Xeon E5-2697 V2 SR19H 2.70GHz 30M 12-Core LGA 2011 CPU 130W upgraded to this reason for adding coolers attached to the aluminum cooler ASRock Intel Arc A310 Low Profile 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card | 2000 MHz | Dual Fan installed I have uploaded my diagonstics. I'm currently at about 74% on my parity drive with 4 other 14tb drives I bought from server part deals. I am also only showing 1 fan on my dashboard and it's at 0 rpm. I'm trying to get these fans to spin down because cpu isn't getting that hot right now it's running around 30-35c idle I've attempted to move the fan speeds to 300 / 200 / 100 but I can't move below 300 / 225 / 150 unraid-diagnostics-20260529-0845.zip

Lifetime Purchase - Military Veteran or Student discount for 25% off lifetime?
I’m going to purchase a license this week. Should have the fan modules 3D printed for the super micro and I’ll need Unraid. Who can I reach out to about a lifetime membership? I can verify through ID .Me if needed.

Lifetime Purchase - Military Veteran or Student discount for 25% off lifetime?
As the titles states, I am looking to purchase a lifetime membership to unraid, but wanted to see if a Veteran or Student discount is something Unraid offers? A quick search stated that deals do occur around blackfriday but I wanted to see if there was something that could be offered during off season deals. Regardless if I don't get a discount I will be buying Unraid, but just wanted to ask if verified through proper channels I'd be able to receive a discount. I ended up backing HexOS from linus and it's not turning out to be what everyone has been excited about even after a year of updates and I've waited long enough to upgrade from a Synology to a larger 36 bay system and need an OS to run this. I'm tech savy but I feel TrueNas may be a bit over my head and unraid offers the perfect middle around of ease of use and technical improvements over a system like synology. Thank you!
