Please mark this one SOLVED (at least for me). Although the Windows Task Manager did not show a running browser (Internet Explorer), going into processes, showed iexplorer running. Stopped it and now the login screen pops up when I want to enter the Dashboard or any of the other pages directly; good. Still, I wonder why - with an iexplorer process running in the background - the login screen did not show up with the Dashboard, but did show up going directly to any of the other pages?

I'm using the Apache webserver by dmacias72. As a direct plugin; not using a dockerized webserver.

How to disable or stop the FTP server? Why standard enabled? As we learned today on TV, FTP servers may be quite a security risk, so I wish to disable it (as I'm not using it at all). So how to do? Would be nice to have a toggle on the FTP page

Using a shortcut for the Dashboard, the login screen is skipped and from there I can to any page I want. Using a shortcut to any other page directly; main, shares, useres, settings, plugins, docker, tools, requires the login. And thus basically a serious security flaw.

Hi, Not sure where this message will end up ... Last couple of days / week tried several times to login with phpvirtualbox. To no avail, obviously. So what is wrong? Everything required is running (virtualbox, vboxwebsrv) and I get to he login page, but not even the default admin / admin works. Recovery.php (to reset the default admin / admin) does not work either. Setting var $noAuth = true; lets me in (without username / password, as expected). But I would prefer to really login. Any thoughts? Permissions issue?

Before I tried S3 sleep from SimpleFeatures ... to no avail. Today I noticed the Dynamix new WebGUI + plugins, where it appeared as if S3 sleep is working properly now. So installed it. Again to no avail! After waking up, nothing is available; no shares, no webgui, no telnet ... error "host does not exist". Only rebooting helps. With 6 months unnecessary 24/7 uptime, any help is highly appreciated. And yes, it does support wake-on: pumbg

I know this is actually not the right place for this post, as it mainly concerns plugins, but I want to make you - Limetech - aware that the fact that you allow immature plugins to be distributed, backfires on your product, giving your nice product in itself a bad name and that you should better take responsibility to avoid this! I would say even prevent this; better fewer working plugins than rubbish. There was even a plugin that presented an error message on your main page right after install; how about that! After reading a good deal on the internet, I decided to take the plunge and go for unRAID. The main reasons being: - data protection, at the least capacity loss - energy efficiency (no unnecessary drive spinning) - and a number of plugins: Sleepmode, mySQL (for XBMC), Spotweb, Sickbeard, CouchPotato and SABnzbd So parted from my well-earned money and ordered the new hardware and the unRAID Plus license. Who could have guessed that some of the plugins for this OS are so IMMATURE and allowed to be released at all! So far, only the "guarantee" of dataprotection, the array with cache drive and MySQL are giving my joy. As for the rest, I'm confident it will work satisfactory someday, but not at the moment. Not even something simple as sleep mode is working ... so there goes energy efficiency! If someone can prove me wrong I'll be all ears, but after spending days and weeks (no, not just a couple of hours, but sometimes entire days and a couple of weekends) trying to get things working, I doubt it very much. So I'll just use it as a basic media server, switching it off and on as required, by hand at the box. But don't expect me to promote the overall system, which I normally do when I'm enthusiastic about it. Now I'm just disappointed! So what needs to be fixed for me to become satisfied: - Sleepmode - Integration of Sickbeard, Couchpotato and SABnzbd which individually work satisfactorily - although not so much for Dutch people, hence the reason for Spotweb

It should just have been tested more properly before releasing a package which give already an error on unRAID's main page and to resolve it one required an updated .plg and .tgz package which were both not included. to trurl: I have the stock unraid 5rc16c OS (hope my signature will show it too) and off course SimpleFeatures mandatory core webGui (and few other add ons). No matter what I do but the webserver remains STOPPED. Meanwhile I can have lighttpd running to have Spotweb running, but as the instructions to install Spotweb all refer to using the SimpleFeatures webserver I would rather use that one too. But if it is just poorly tested beta then I will stay away from it. After days of trying to solve things myself using the internet ... to no avail obviously I hope one of you can help me. First of all to "speeding_ant" ... did you test the package you released?! I guess not, because why the hell did I have to make changes to webserver.plg to get rid of some errors (not properly displaying the last parity check) and why wasn't the required package not available as a result?! As you can understand very frustrating. Particularly as it is the only simplefeatures plugin I'm interested in and thus 100% failure. Anyway, after sorting that out (as a complete noob) I now have it running ... sort of, because I still can not use it, as it remains STOPPED, while being enabled; even more frustrating!
