I'm not sure what it could be! As I said before I can put unraid on another USB drive and load it on another computer and it works fine as soon as I transfer those files to my server as in using them on the thumb drive that goes to my server the problem comes back I'm thinking a hardware issue but remember I still have access to my server so what would prevent me from getting on line but still have access to the server? That's what I have to answer

Dude I did one better I flashed the whole thumb drive over! All files on the thumb drive were replaced with files off the unraid site download.Ive done this 2 or 3 times!

Okay I disabled bonding and rebooted doing that made the server unreachable could not log in had to get in through the interface at the server end. So that's not the answer and the problem continues. I'm just wondering if the server doesn't store a config file on the server somewhere. I can create a boot thumb drive and load it on a different computer and all is well the problem goes away when I transfer the files to the server thumb drive the problem comes back this makes me wonder if theirs something going on with either the server hardware that's unlikely as I have server access through my internal network and if my internal network is up and the internet is their witch it is the server should have internet as I hooked another computer to the same network switch the server is on and was able to get online. This is giving me a headache as it makes no sense!

Running parity check have to reboot to enable the network change will get back with you tomorrow.

Just took another PC and plugged it in to the network switch the server is plugged into I was able to browse the internet. Hiya Squid

Note pinging google from the command line with in the server produced a 100% packet loss.

This is weird I have network access on the PC I'm writing this I also have server access. Both are on the same network that has internet other wise I could not post on this forum that being said is their anyway unraid could loose internet access but still have network access? I did get another thumb drive and installed unraid on it and it worked fine even the community apps I then transferred the files to the server thumb drive and doing that broke it No community apps! Driving me crazy and I don't know how to fix it.!

Hello I've been dealing with for quite some time. Last time I was on here I was told to install a new copy of unraid to see if it would fix the problem. well I did not want to mess up all my setting on my only thumb drive I had that would work so I said screw it and dealt with it till now I wanted to go the newest version of unraid so I took the plunge and installed a brand new copy none of my config files nothing just the ones that came in the v.7.2 zip of unraid well I am still having the same problem can not download community apps. this is getting frustrating Please help me as I have nothing to loose and am at my wits end. I GIVE UP!!! I can't even make a unraid boot drive keep saying not bootable formatted in fat 32 using the app that is on here to make a boot drive I have been with unraid for years and it's been fighting me ever ever since I started no one seems to be able to help me.

I may have to wait to do this one as I need another thumb drive. I have one but it appears to be a bad drive as it doesn't want to flash

Question do I have to put the server online for this or just boot with it and check?

movies-diagnostics-20231213-0453.zip I have no internet connection within unraid I was running an older version if unraid as I could not upgrade I can download no dockers no add-on I have upgraded to the newest version but had to do It manually I was hoping that completely wiping the boot drive and resetting the server would solve the problem but no dice if you could help me solve this problem that would be great. I suspect the problem is in the network settings I do have local connectivity.

Okay Heres the command line used to get the apps tab on unraid rm -rf /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/customtabtemp Heres the responce I get. plugin: installing: rm -rf /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/customtabtemp plugin: XML file doesn't exist or xml parse error I can't show you anything else cause I have no way to install anything.

the app plugin where you get plex and all kinds of kewl stuff you can do inside unraid I can't download it. the update where you can install new bata versions of unraid can't do it nothing their. Plex the program that allows me to watch content from my server on my phone I cant do it doesn't work I thought i'd delete and reinstall plex to try to fix it I can't do it cause the plugin that you download it from don't work.

Dude apps in the app docker the app docker it self I was running plex it won't work I can't download it. There is no error it just sits their and then says could not reach source. Nothing outside my own network works the new versions of Unraid NOT!! nothing! I went to a command prompt and pinged google it came back as no packet loss so my server has internet access.

I have a problem I can not download or install dockers apps or updates. I have access to the internet but the server doesn't seem to be able to download anything. I ping google and it comes back good no lost packets. I be leave it's a port problem but am not sure how to fix it. movies-diagnostics-20220312-1245.zip
