  1. No. It appears you have flakey USB ports, or disk drives. udev keeps seeing the disk as being installed, and UD wants to mount it. Just getting UD to ignore the disk won't fix the underlying problem. Have you checked for a BIOS update? Are you connecting the USB devices through a USB hub? That can be an issue.
  2. Zoneminder 1.36 has been released. I am going to update the zoneminder docker in the next few days to update zoneminder to 1.36. This will be an automatic update to 1.36. If you aren't ready for 1.36, don't update the docker. I've done some initial testing and it looks to work fine with no glitches that I've seen yet. Edit: Home Assistant doesn't appear to be ready for Zoneminder 1.36. My HA doesn't want to log into Zoneminder properly. It seems to be working now. Not sure why though.
  3. I suspect that Linux/udev is not recognizing the disk as having been removed. That's why it is assigning new disk designations (sdX) when you plug it back in. This confuses Unraid so it is not understood as an unassigned disk; that's why you don't see the Dev X assigned to the disk. If this disk is being installed in a USB3 port, try a USB 2 port. Reboot sorts this all out, but it is not the most desirable solution.
  4. Be sure you have the latest version of UD. Click on the two arrows pointing to each other in the upper right of the UD page. This will trigger a udev refresh on the devices that might straighten out the problem with the disk designations sdi and sdj. You can't view SMART attributes/capabilities on a spun down disk on 6.9. That's what 'Can not read...' means.
  5. Name: whatever you want to call it. Key: JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS Value: -Xmx2g
  6. Could be. If you put the drive in a USB3 port, try a USB2 port.
  7. Are you sure it was properly umnounted.

Remove preclear plugin temporarily. Update Unraid to 6.9.2 and get off the RC. Reboot server. Post further issues on the UD forum.
  9. It is not as simple as you want to make it. I can't tell you what I'm looking for because I don't know what the problem is. The diagnostics are annonymized, but if you feel that it is too much information, please discuss your concerns with LimeTech. I don't feel it is appropriate form me to enter into a back and forth with you on this forum while I try to figure out what your problem is.
  10. I can't help without diagnostics. Do you have Unassigned Devices Plus installed? You need that to format disks.

  12. The first thing you should do before requesting help is to be sure your plugins are all up to date. You have a January 2021 version installed. The issue you are seeing has been fixed. Please update UD.
  13. Click on the three gears icon for the device and change this line to whatever you want:
  14. I've added a 'Volume' setting in the device settings for an apfs formatted partition so you can set the volume to mount.
  15. The 'Script File' defaults to the mountpoint. When you first install a disk and create a script, the 'Script File' is the disk serial number. If you change the mountpoint and then create a script, it will be the current mountpoint. You can change the 'Script File' anytime, so it is unique to the disk.
  16. Try not to use special characters. Leave it. I'm going to issue an update to UD with the changes I've just made.
