All the sensors are showing as normal right now.

  2. Been having a few issues with my memory filling up with logs, disabled dockers and it didnt seem to go away so I thought I would change the memory modules.

So got all 8gb sticks and filled up all 12 slots giving 96gb ECC but everyy few hours system just dies and lose all access

    server-diagnostics-20210131-1612.zip

Been able to reboot system with IPMI, posted the last diagnostic file from yesterday from flash drive but not sure if its due to the memory or something else.

Also am I right in thinking memtest wont help as I am using ECC?

Any help is appreciated as always :)

  3. Hi Guys got this a few times

/var/log is getting full (currently 98 % used)

Rebooted once before and it cleared but almost full again

I read a old thread on how dynmix needs 384m but that might be outdated now?

    Model: N/A

    M/B: Supermicro X8DT3 Version 2.0 - s/n: NM28S34362

BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version 2.2. Dated: 07/09/2018

    CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU X5690 @ 3.47GHz

    HVM: Enabled

    IOMMU: Enabled

    Cache: 384 KiB, 1536 KiB, 12 MB, 384 KiB, 1536 KiB, 12 MB

Memory: 48 GiB DDR3 Multi-bit ECC (max. installable capacity 384 GiB)

Network: eth0: 1000 Mbps, full duplex, mtu 1500
     eth1: interface down

    Kernel: Linux 5.10.1-Unraid x86_64

    OpenSSL: 1.1.1h

    Uptime: 4 days, 21:46:30

Is there a command to clear the log and are there some settings I need to tweak? I don't think none of the dockers are misconfigured and the only thing I have done recently is upgraded to Version: 6.9.0-rc2 and added Grafana with the ultimate dashboard.

  4. So iv had telrgram for probably a year or two but never used it for much until I discovered botfather!

I have a handful of bots now which keep me updated in Telegram.

    Unraid Notifications

    Plex Movie Downloaded

    Radarr/Sonarr add movie or series

UptimeRobot that monitors a personal site and my Plex port.

Can't believe iv left it this late to use.

Anyone else got good ideas what to use bots for?333b2936eda442c47566ff6dfec95c54.jpg

  5. So I have been running this for a good few years for plex, a few vms and family back up.

However its quite dated and want to improve power usage and overall efficiency. I actually have 2 identical chassis with same Supermicro board but one has a faulty CPU socket.

So I can strip that and put something new in there. Before migrating disks over. But with what is the question... I keep seeing posts about Ryzen builds... Should I go dual cpu again, have to make the jump to DDR4 but is going ECC going to cost too much?

Current machine in signature. Would love some opinions

  6. This morning I woke up to an email alert saying

Event: Fix Common Problems - Server

Subject: Errors have been found with your server (Server).

Description: Investigate at Settings / User Utilities / Fix Common Problems

    Importance: alert

**** Out Of Memory errors detected on your server ****

Remote logged on to have a quick look and everything now seems fine but it's the first time I have had this error since using unraid.

Memory usage was just under 50% at the moment but something clearly happened around 04:30 for an alert to be sent.

At around 03:00 my unifi docker was updated

    Event: Community Applications

    Subject: Docker Auto Update

    Description: unifi-controller Automatically Updated

    Importance: normal

But this has never caused issue like this before.

I have attached diagnostics, hoping it is just a one off [emoji1696]http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5fb0fd621c32a/server-diagnostics-20201115-0954.zip

  7. Came across pseudotv-plex a few times just wondered if anyone using this on unraid?

I wouldn't mind setting up a few channels of my media but the last time I tried it it was maxxing out all cpu cores.

  8. Hi

I accidentally removed a source for a plex library, I added the library back but it lost all my poster art.

So I thought I could just use the CA backup I have but it's 20gb and can't do it manually by extracting the files using winrar or 7zip

Is there an easy or quicker way to restore just the plex app data or can I only replace everything that is backed up using CA backup / restore?
